The basketball stand is delivered in a sturdy cardboard box, which protects the product sufficiently and thus effectively prevents transport damage. The product parts are wrapped in plastic film, which reduces the sustainability of the packaging. The package contents are complete and include all the necessary parts, including the basketball and pump, to start setting up immediately. The VALENESS® outdoor basketball stand impresses with its simple, functional design and excellent workmanship. The stand and the wheel axle are made of robust metal, which ensures a high level of stability. Sturdy hexagonal bolts are used to connect the components, giving the entire construction additional strength. The stand is made of hard plastic, which is less sustainable but offers a long service life. A chemical odour from the plastic can be detected when unpacking, but this dissipates after a while. Overall, the combination of metal, sturdy screw connections and hard-wearing plastic guarantees long-lasting and reliable use of the basketball stand outdoors.

The VALENESS® outdoor basketball stand delivers a solid performance in practical tests. The height adjustment of the basket offers a very secure hold, as the height fixings are reliably secured with sturdy hexagonal screws. However, the adjustment is somewhat more complex, as the screws have to be loosened and re-fastened, which takes additional time.
The assembly and disassembly of the stand is easy to carry out thanks to the detailed instructions, but is time-consuming. A positive aspect is that the required tools, two hexagon spanners, are already included in the scope of delivery, so that no additional tools are required.
In terms of stability, the basketball stand impresses on different surfaces such as concrete, grass or gravel. The stand remains stable even during intensive play and offers a secure footing thanks to the base that can be filled with water or sand.
The basket heights correspond exactly to the manufacturer’s specifications, which enables precise use for players of different age groups.
Another plus point is the smooth running of the castors. They are very easy to move and the metal wheel axle guarantees a long service life without the castors breaking easily. Thanks to their wide design, they also roll smoothly on uneven surfaces.
