The VALENESS® slingshot impressed in the test as a precise and versatile tool for hunting and practice shooting. Thanks to careful workmanship and fine adjustment, it offers high precision and reliable results. The ergonomically shaped handle with recessed grip is relatively small, but still offers a secure grip for right and left-handers and makes it easier to tighten the rubber band. The clip mechanism allows the rubber band to be changed without tools, and three replacement rubber bands are included in the set, which increases durability. The set contains 100 metal balls and 300 biodegradable clay balls, which dissolve in the open air without leaving any residue and enable environmentally friendly training. One small disadvantage is the rubber bands themselves, which wear out relatively quickly and need to be replaced. However, 3 replacement rubber bands are included in the scope of delivery.
All in all, the slingshot offers a precise, user-friendly and environmentally friendly solution for sports and hunting enthusiasts who value reliability.

The packaging makes a robust impression. The shipping box is made of recyclable material and has a compact design to minimise waste and avoid unnecessary packaging material. The contents are complete and well organised: In addition to the slingshot itself, there were three spare rubbers, 100 metal balls, 300 biodegradable clay balls, a belt pouch and instructions for use in German. The instructions were well structured and provided with clear pictures , which made it very easy to set up and use the slingshot. However, one small point of criticism remains the use of plastic film – a more environmentally friendly alternative would be desirable here.

The slingshot makes a positive first impression. The modern, functional design in neutral colours looks professional. The ergonomically shaped handle with non-slip surface is visually appealing and sits comfortably in the hand. The workmanship is high quality and clean. The clip mechanism runs smoothly and all parts are solidly made with no visible defects. The stability is also impressive: the robust plastic can withstand intensive use and the elastic band can be tensioned effortlessly. The biodegradable clay balls, which can be used for practising, are a sustainable plus point. Otherwise, the manufacturer does not provide any specific information on sustainability. However, the choice of high-quality materials suggests that the product is designed for a long service life.

The slingshot impressed in the practical test with its good elasticity and powerful shots. Different degrees of tension could be achieved by shortening or folding the strap. Although minimal damage occurred after repeated use, the restoring force remained stable and enabled precise shots. Three spare rubber bands are supplied to further extend the service life. The ergonomically shaped handle sits comfortably in the hand even during intensive use, but is a little small for larger hands, which can lead to slight discomfort after prolonged use. Nevertheless, comfort remains at a high level and the non-slip surface ensures a secure grip even with wet hands. The fork proved to be extremely stable and did not deform even under high loads, which emphasises the reliability of the slingshot under load. In terms of precision, the slingshot proved to be very accurate. Compatibility with various projectiles, from metal to biodegradable clay balls, worked without any problems and even improvised projectiles could be fired well.
Overall, the VALENESS® slingshot offers a balanced mix of stability, precision and comfort. There are slight deductions for the handle size and the durability of the rubber band, but this is well compensated for by the replacement bands.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.4 stars. In some cases, the straps are criticised for being too unstable and the handle too small. On the other hand, the good handling, the price-performance ratio, the extensive accessories and the excellent customer service are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the slingshot is easy to handle, can be set up quickly and shoots very accurately.
Prices of up to €32.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very cheap products are available from as little as €7.99 . The VALENESS® slingshot is therefore currently in the middle price segment with a price of €23.99. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
