The poles are extendable from 100-137 cm and suitable for women and men (height: 150-200 cm). Solid safety catches prevent unintentional collapsing. They are stable and lightweight so that they do not bend or break thanks to the ultra-light 7075 aluminium used as the hiking pole material and the tungsten steel tips, the telescopic trekking poles are extremely robust and durable. They are also very comfortable to hold. The ergonomically shaped, non-slip cork handles with handle extension and the additional hand loops on the walking poles ensure optimum grip and extra comfort. Together with the 4 rubber pads & plates supplied for snow, sand, tarmac and stony paths, the poles are an indispensable hiking accessory in any weather. Whether for hiking, Nordic walking, trekking or as running poles for mountaineers, the hiking poles are versatile. BERGKVIST walking poles simply make walking easier! Plus carrying bag (70×12.5 cm). The BERGKVIST hiking poles made a good impression in our test. In addition to the adjustable dimensions, the product also offers excellent grip thanks to the hand loops. In addition, the handle is made of cork and therefore provides a comfortable grip in the hand. Nevertheless, an extended Velcro fastener would have been desirable for people with a smaller hand. Furthermore, the poles are not quite ideal for taller people, as they can be adjusted a little too low. However, with a height of 150-165cm in the test, this was not a problem.
Advantages
✅ Infinitely adjustable
✅ Stable and lightweight
✅ Comfortable in the hand
✅ Interchangeable attachments
Disadvantages
❌ Adjustable too low for taller people
❌ Velcro fastener on the wrist strap too large

The BRGEKVIST KJERAG walking poles arrived in the typical cardboard packaging. The box was undamaged and easy to open with scissors or a knife. Inside the box, the walking poles were still in their actual box with the brand printed on them and pictures of the walking poles. The walking poles themselves were additionally packed in a bag in the second box. However, these also serve as a carrying bag for travelling and protect the poles from dirt and scratches The product protection was complete in this case and the walking poles were therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging of the walking poles is partially recyclable. The bags can be recycled, as can both boxes.
On the whole, the BRGEKVIST KJERAG walking poles make a very good impression. The walking poles were not damaged and the parcel was in very good condition.

The walking poles are made of aluminium for lightness, strength and durability. The screw for adjusting the height of the walking poles is ribbed so that the user has a good grip when turning and adjusting. The clamps require a little force to close, but provide a firm hold and ensure stability. The cork handle, which provides a pleasant feel, and the various attachments suitable for every trip into the great outdoors should be emphasised. Furthermore, the pouch or the additional carrying bag supplied is very useful, as it prevents damage after use and protects against dirt.

I really enjoyed hiking with the walking poles during the test. They are unusual for beginners at first, as you are not used to having material support when walking, but they made the walk much easier. The advantage here is the hand strap, which with the comfortable cork grip provides a lot of stability when walking. This also means that they don’t fall out of your hand so quickly. The walking poles were also very sturdy, even under heavier loads from more body weight they held firm and did not slip. By adjusting the height of the walking poles, they are not only adaptable to different body sizes, but can also be carried in rucksacks or other bags as they can be made very small. The walking poles are very practical, especially for beginners, and offer good value for money.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.4 stars. One common complaint is that the cork handle wears out after prolonged use. Many customers like the fact that the walking poles are height-adjustable, very sturdy and versatile and are more attractively priced than other well-known brand products of equally good quality. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the walking poles were stable, light and easy to handle. What was not so good was that the screws are a little awkward to use when adjusting the height as they are very small.
Prices of up to €79.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €29.98. The BRGEKVIST KJERAG hiking poles are currently in the lower price segment with a price of €37.97. The price ratio is very good for the quality and scope of services you get.
