The wildlife repeller from ISOTRONIC made a good impression in our test.
As well as being easy to install using cable ties or screws, it also impresses with its handy size and mobile use. The product uses ultrasonic waves and blue light sequences to provide preventative protection against rodents within an effective area of up to 40 square metres. No chemical agents are used in the process. Furthermore, the battery life is around 8 months. Nevertheless, an indication of possible water resistance would have been desirable.

We have looked at and tested the product in detail in a practical test. In the following, we take a closer look at the features and impressions. The product is subjected to our test procedure from the packaging, materials and quality to the range of functions and handling.

Packaging
The wildlife repeller from ISOTRONIC arrived for our test in the typical shipping box. It was undamaged and easy to open by removing the adhesive strip. The box contained the paper-wrapped wildlife repeller and its accessories. The packaging method ensures that the product is optimally protected from scratches and dirt. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the wildlife repeller was delivered in perfect condition.
In addition, the packaging of the wildlife repeller is completely recyclable. In this respect, the product leaves a very good first impression. Neither the device nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were five things on the table. In addition to the wildlife repeller, batteries, installation material and a small screwdriver were supplied. Furthermore, the correct handling of the product was described in the enclosed 8-language instructions for use and on the packaging. The contact information can be found on the product box, whereby the e-mail address is only displayed by scanning a QR code. However, there is no customer hotline.
Nevertheless, this is a very good way to send a product.

Firstly, it should be mentioned that the wildlife repeller makes a good visual impression. It has rounded corners, but minor processing faults. The housing of the product is made of plastic, which nevertheless fits very well in the hand. The device also impresses with its low weight and sturdy workmanship. Furthermore, the wildlife repeller cannot be bent and remains rigid.
Although there are only references to sustainability in the packaging, the product itself does not use any chemical substances. Research and development was also carried out in Germany. The manufacturer also offers a two-year guarantee.

To use the wildlife repeller, the batteries (6 x AAA) must first be inserted. Opening the housing is a little more difficult at first because the screwdriver supplied takes some getting used to and the cover can only be removed with additional tools. The device can then be installed in cars, garages, barns, attics or gardens, for example, using the cable ties or screws supplied. Anchors are not included, but are not necessary due to the weight.
Due to the short, intermittent emission of high-frequency tones and blue LED light, the manufacturer promises a battery life of around 8 months. The LED light flashes twelve times every 60 seconds while the high-frequency tone is emitted. Although we could hear the latter in the immediate vicinity (40 cm distance), this does not interfere with installation in the locations mentioned. The effect of the product in practice would have to be determined in a long-term test. Unfortunately, there is no indication of possible water resistance, meaning that suitable use for certain outdoor locations cannot be guaranteed.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 3.7 stars. Some criticise that the product has no effect on wild animals. In contrast, other reviewers were able to confirm the positive effect. Meanwhile, many customers like the compact design and easy installation. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that installation is effortless and that the device has a handy design. We cannot make a general statement about the actual benefits, as this would require a practical test over a longer period of time. Furthermore, we believe it would be useful to indicate whether the device is water-resistant.
Prices of up to €78 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as €16. The wildlife repeller from ISOTRONIC is therefore in the middle price segment with a current price of €34.95. Consequently, the price ratio is reasonable for the quality and scope of services you receive.
