The medium-sized suitcase from the Wittchen Groove-Line combines modern design with sophisticated functionality and is ideal for multi-day trips. The hard-wearing ABS material reliably protects the contents from external influences, while the integrated combination lock offers additional security.
The easy handling is particularly positive thanks to the 360° wheels, which allow effortless manoeuvring. The only thing we criticised in our test was the lack of TSA key access, which would be a useful addition to this very good suitcase, especially for international travellers.

The Groove-Line travel case (medium) from the manufacturer Wittchen was packed securely and compactly so that it reached us undamaged.
Although plastic and bubble wrap are necessary to protect the product, a more sustainable solution would be desirable.
The contents of the package correspond to the manufacturer’s specifications and include the travel case mentioned.
At first glance, a practical little card with instructions for use and service information about the product and manufacturer is a positive feature, even though the product is basically self-explanatory to use.

On first inspection of the case, the aesthetic appearance of the case with its modern, unobtrusive design is impressive. The manufacturer also offers many different colours and sizes of the case as well as matching bags for cosmetics or electronics, so that the right product is available for every occasion.
In our test, we had the model in black.
The workmanship appears to be of high quality, and on closer inspection there are no sharp edges or unclean seams.
The material also makes a sturdy impression, which means that the case should stand up to a lot of travelling.
Even if there is no official information on sustainable production, the durability of the selected materials ensures a certain environmental friendliness. The customer is also granted a 30-day right of return. Further information from the manufacturer may be desirable.

In our practical test, the suitcase proved to be extremely comfortable and cut a very good figure overall.
The telescopic handle is stable and can be easily adjusted to different heights. It remains stable even when fully loaded, making the case comfortable to move.
The four smooth-running castors are also responsible for this, allowing the case to roll smoothly and change direction precisely – even on uneven surfaces. They are also relatively quiet, which offers additional comfort.
The interior layout is well thought out: one compartment with elasticated straps keeps clothes in place, while the second compartment with a partition wall provides additional organisation. In addition, two further compartments inside can be loaded with smaller items that are directly accessible when the case is opened.
The integrated combination lock works perfectly and offers a certain level of security. Our only criticism is that a TSA lock would be an advantage when travelling internationally to make luggage checks easier.
The material of the suitcase is sturdy and flexible for its intended use, so that breaks in the material are unlikely.
