As part of our product test, we took a closer look at the 100% cotton bed linen from Wolkenfeld. The bed linen impresses with its simple, modern design and is made from high-quality, Oeko-Tex certified cotton. The duvet cover measures 135×200 cm and is securely fastened with a robust YKK zip. The matching pillowcase measures 80×80 cm and is also equipped with a practical zip. The covers are available in different sizes and colours so that they can be adapted to different bed sizes and colour preferences. The Renforce cotton ensures a pleasant sleeping climate in both summer and winter as it has a temperature-regulating effect. The bed linen is also easy to care for: it is machine-washable up to 60 °C and suitable for tumble drying, which means it retains its shape and softness even after frequent washing. The “MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX” certification guarantees that the bed linen has been produced without harmful substances and in an environmentally friendly manner.

The packaging of the Wolkenfeld bed linen is thoughtfully designed and offers optimum protection for the contents. A big plus is the environmentally friendly packaging, which is made entirely from recyclable materials such as cardboard and paper. The compact and minimalist design reduces unnecessary waste and superfluous packaging material. Inside, the bed linen is carefully folded and safely stowed away so that it remains in perfect condition during transport. A nice extra is the enclosed “Do not disturb” card, which contains links to the homepage on the inside with useful information on washing instructions, exchange and return options and customer service. The small booklet with “bed stories” is particularly charming, providing useful general knowledge about the bed and introducing the two founders of Wolkenfeld in person.

The bed linen from Wolkenfeld impressed in the practical test with its precise fit and is ideal for standard bed sizes such as 140×200 cm. The sturdy YKK zip is particularly practical, making it easier to cover and keeping the bed linen securely in place. The 100% cotton material feels soft on the skin and promotes a healthy sleeping environment. During the test nights, the bed linen always stayed in place and did not form any annoying creases. The workmanship was rated as high quality: no loose threads or irregular seams were found, which indicates solid workmanship. The bed linen complies with the Oeko-Tex standard, is free of harmful substances and is therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin. In the care test, the Wolkenfeld bed linen proved to be extremely easy to care for. It can be washed at up to 60 °C and tumble dried without any problems. Even after repeated washing, it retains its shape and colour without fading or fluffing. The breathable cotton also ensures a pleasant sleeping climate all year round, in summer and winter alike.
The consistently positive characteristics in the test make the Wolkenfeld bed linen an excellent choice for everyday use.
