The Xyedyaup straw set comes in sturdy cardboard packaging. Inside, we find a transparent bag that protects all 100 straws well. The packaging material is simple but functional. There is no unnecessary outer packaging or additional plastic elements – a positive point in terms of sustainability. Of course, packaging made entirely of paper and cardboard would be even better.
The straws themselves are colorful, and the variety is immediately apparent upon opening the package: everything from simple black and white tones to colorful glitter and motif variations is represented.
All parts were complete and undamaged, including the two cleaning brushes supplied, which were initially lost among the mass of straws.
Detailed instructions for use are not included, but this is not necessary – the product is self-explanatory.
Overall, the first impression is one of functionality and lots of fun colors. The manufacturer has clearly placed emphasis on an appealing design without losing sight of the essentials.
The only criticism is that the bag could be made from recycled or paper-based material in the future for greater sustainability. Otherwise, the packaging is impressive in terms of clarity and good protection during shipping.

When you first touch the straws, you can immediately tell that they are made of sturdy, reusable plastic. The material is firm, smooth, and evenly processed, with no sharp edges or rough spots. None of the straws were bent or irregularly shaped—a clear sign of clean manufacturing quality.
The variety of colors and shapes is immediately appealing: children in particular are likely to enjoy the bright colors and varied designs. The simple versions – in black, silver, or transparent, for example – are also visually appealing to adults. The straws are pleasant to the touch, with a high-quality feel and no material defects.
In terms of stability, Xyedyaup straws are impressive across the board. They can also be used with hot drinks without any problems, without softening or deforming. Although there is no information on sustainability or recyclability, the straws clearly contribute to waste reduction due to their reusability. As they are dishwasher-safe, they can be cleaned and reused multiple times.
All in all, even after unpacking, the impression is very positive: high-quality workmanship, versatile and visually diverse – a successful blend of function and design.

In practical tests, the Xyedyaup straws confirmed the good first impression and impressed with their suitability for everyday use. Their stability was particularly noticeable – even after repeated use, the straws retained their shape and color. They could be used without any problems for cold drinks such as smoothies or lemonades as well as for hot drinks such as tea or coffee. No softening, no bending, no unpleasant aftertaste – a clear advantage over paper straws.
Cleaning proved to be straightforward. The straws could be cleaned hygienically both by hand with the enclosed brushes and in the dishwasher. Even after several wash cycles, there was no discoloration or cracking. The cleaning brushes are sturdy, flexible, and easily reach the lower part of the straws.
Even after repeated use, no signs of wear were detected. The colors remained vibrant and the surface smooth. The wide range of lengths and diameters is particularly practical: thin straws are perfect for cocktails or juices, while thicker versions are ideal for milkshakes and smoothies.
In terms of sustainability, Xyedyaup straws make a clear contribution to waste reduction. Although they are made of plastic, their reusability and durability mean they can replace hundreds of disposable straws. Overall, the set impressed in the test as a colorful, durable, and environmentally friendly alternative that is fun to use and combines quality with sustainability.
