With your purchase, you are supporting a young company that specializes in durable products with optimum customer benefits. Unfortunately, the cards are not waterproof , which means that they can only be used in dry places. The well-designed video course is a positive feature.

The knot practice set from Knotenstunde arrived for our test in a typical shipping box, which was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and arrived undamaged .
The box contained the storage bag wrapped in bubble wrap with the instructions, two ropes and the boat cleat.
Unfortunately, plastic was used to protect the product from dirt . In this case, the product was fully protected and the training set was therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging of the knot practice set is unfortunately not fully recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, the knot practice set with a carrying bag, 11 instructions, two ropes and a boat cleat lay on the floor of the living room. The instructions for the individual knots are very easy to understand. They offer the customer the opportunity to learn the knots in detail.
Unfortunately, the customer is not offered a customer hotline . However, the customer has the option of sending a letter or e-mail to the company using the address provided. This information is printed directly on the outside of the packaging and can be easily viewed by the customer.
Overall, we still consider this to be a good shipping method.

In our practical test, we extensively tested the knot course for the recreational boating license sea + inland and the Lake Constance skipper’s license. With a total of 11 different knots , it offers a comprehensive range to be well prepared for the exam .
We found the included video course, which shows all the knots in detail, particularly practical. This allowed us to memorize the knots not only by reading the instructions, but also by watching the videos. The course is very comprehensive and goes into every detail. This made it easy for us to copy and practise the knots. It should be noted, however, that the cards are unfortunately not waterproof , so you have to make sure you practise in dry places .
The supplied boat cleat with suction cups is very robust and holds well on all smooth surfaces. The ropes supplied are long enough to practise and test the full size knots .
The large bag contains everything you need for the test.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the knot course.
