The Adlersfeld socket outlet protector arrives in very compact packaging made of foiled cardboard. This avoids unnecessary packaging waste. The instructions for use are clearly written in German and are surprisingly detailed for such a self-explanatory product. There are a total of 20 fuses in the packaging. On closer inspection, the product confirms the very good first impression.
The very minimalist and simple white design is not obtrusive and blends in unobtrusively, which is a positive aspect of this product.
The socket fuse is very evenly and flawlessly manufactured.
At the same time, the fuse is designed to be very robust and resistant , so that no breakage or deformation can be detected even when subjected to body weight.
Unfortunately, there is no labelling on the product itself regarding recycling. By using high-quality materials , it contributes to a long service life and to minimising transport routes, so that the product can be classified as sustainable overall.

In practical tests, the Adlersfeld® childproof socket fuse with rotary mechanism was convincing in almost all areas.
Fitting the fuses proved to be extremely user-friendly. They could be installed quickly and easily without additional tools. Thanks to the full-surface 3M adhesive film, the fuse was stable and firmly anchored in every socket outlet tested. There was no movement or loosening even under heavy load, which speaks for the quality of the materials used.
Another plus point was the perfect fit of the fuses. They fitted easily into all tested sockets and closed them completely. This ensures that there are no gaps through which children could reach the socket.
The fuse could also be removed by an adult without much effort, although this is not recommended due to the loss of adhesive strength.
The child safety mechanism was particularly impressive. It could not be manipulated or removed by children in any of the tests, which clearly emphasises the safety of the product.
All in all, the Adlersfeld® socket outlet safety device fully lives up to its advertising promises and proves to be a reliable solution for making socket outlets childproof .
Overall, the product impresses with its ease of use and high level of safety.
