Manufacturer’s product description
The Ben Nervous tyre lever from BikePeak consists of three levers made of hardened carbon steel and is suitable for various types of bikes, including road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes and city bikes. With compact dimensions of 12.4 cm in length and 1.3 cm in width, the levers are handy, easy to transport and fit easily into any bike bag. The smooth metal surface is designed to enable safe handling and protect the rims as much as possible. High stability and a long service life are also emphasised .
Practical testing confirmed the stable impression: the levers held reliably even with stuck tyres without bending or damaging the tyres. They are simple and functional to use: the classic fixation to the spokes allows the tyre to be removed from the rim step by step. The robustness was particularly impressive, with no negative effect on the material even after repeated use.
The only criticism is the increased risk of scratching sensitive rims if the necessary care is not taken. This is a disadvantage that plastic levers do not usually have.
Overall, the BikePeak set is a functional and durable tool that is particularly suitable for cyclists who change tyres frequently and want a robust and reliable tool.

The first impression of the BikePeak tyre lever is thoroughly positive. The three levers have a simple and functional design, without unnecessary embellishments or eye-catching colours. The matt surface of the hardened carbon steel gives the tool a professional and high-quality look. The workmanship is very clean and precise: the edges are smoothly ground and there are no burrs or unevenness. This speaks for careful manufacturing with a focus on quality. The choice of carbon steel as the material also gives the impression of high robustness and durability. In terms of stability, the set makes a very solid impression. The levers appear solid and robust, which indicates high load-bearing capacity. It can be assumed that they will retain their shape even under pressure and will not bend easily. The manufacturer does not provide any specific information on sustainability. However, the use of hardened carbon steel suggests that the product will have a long service life. In addition, the manufacturer offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, which indicates confidence in the quality and durability of the tyre levers.

The BikePeak tyre lever set impressed in practical testing with its stability, effective leverage and ease of use. The three levers made of hardened carbon steel fit comfortably in the hand and , thanks to their shape and surface, offer a secure grip even during more strenuous work. The application is intuitive: the tyre can be removed evenly piece by piece from the rim, even with tight-fitting or stuck models. The wide compatibility was particularly positive: the set worked reliably with different tyre sizes and bicycle types, including racing bikes and e-bikes. When levering, the tool remains dimensionally stable and does not slip, making the work more efficient overall. Even after repeated use, the levers showed no signs of material fatigue or deformation. The only minor drawbacks were in the scratch resistance category: fine marks were visible on particularly sensitive rims after use, but these were barely noticeable and only affected the surface. This did not impair the function or appearance of the rim.
Overall, the set proved to be a well-designed and robust tool for everyday use, suitable for anyone who changes tyres regularly and values durable, precision-manufactured accessories.
