The HolyDays beach towel was convincing in our test. The beach towel immediately catches the eye with its somewhat unusual design. It is not only suitable for the classic beach trip, but can also be used in a variety of ways, including as a sauna towel, picnic towel or spatula. The soft fabric is particularly pleasant, guaranteeing a very comfortable lying position. Thanks to its first-class absorbency, the towel is the perfect companion for the beach or spa. It is also easy to fold, so it can be stored in a space-saving manner and fits into any vacation luggage. However, the customer must be aware that the beach towel is not a classic bath towel, but a (lounger) towel, which can still absorb moisture very well.

The HolyDays beach towel was delivered in a cardboard box. This was sealed a little uncoordinated with adhesive tape, but this does not detract from its safety. After opening, the HolyDays beach towel was wrapped in plastic foil in the box. After the beach towel was removed from the plastic film, an additional banderole was “wrapped” around the towel. In our opinion, this would have been sufficient, but it also protects the beach towel from soiling, which again justifies the plastic wrap to some extent. The product was definitely protected by the manufacturer and the product was delivered in perfect condition.

A beach towel does not usually come with many accessories. After taking out the “plastic foil packet” in the box, the box was empty. The plastic film and banderole were then removed and a neatly folded beach towel was ready for use. Unfortunately, there was no note or similar in the box with the manufacturer’s contact information. However, this is relatively easy to find out in times of digitalization. Another positive aspect was definitely that the towel could theoretically be used straight after unpacking (unless you wanted to wash it again first).

The workmanship is of high quality and has no flaws. The beach towel is stable and can be used on all suitable surfaces. The fabric of the product was manufactured according to the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX and is therefore completely harmless to health according to a standardized test. On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.6 stars. Some complain that the beach towel is not thick enough. Many customers like the fact that the beach towel is very soft and has good abs orbency. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the transportability and absorbency were very good, but it is actually a little thin, which means that you can feel the odd bump in the floor more than with a normal bath towel.
