The reflective children’s umbrella is supplied in a sturdy cardboard box that is customised to the size of the product.
Apart from a small piece of plastic in which the handle of the umbrella was wrapped , unnecessary plastic waste was avoided. It would be desirable to find an environmentally friendly alternative for this small plastic component in the future. The two included storage bags with drawstring fasteners are also made of plastic, but can be used as a long-term transport and storage option for the umbrella.
The scope of deliverytherefore includes the sunshade and two storage bags, but no instructions for use were included. However, the latter is not necessary as the product is self-explanatory.
A small card is attached to the strap of the product with the contact details of the salesperson, emphasising the brand’s proximity to the customer .

The BERGIST® brand reflective children’s umbrella has undergone a thorough practical test .
As soon as you unpack and set up the umbrella, you realise that it weighs a reasonable 186 grams and is not too heavy. The frame of the umbrella is made of aluminium and the shaft is additionally reinforced. Six fibreglass struts provide the product with additional stability and flexibility.
Once the sunshade has been opened, it does not bounce around so much and can withstand the weather well. The opening mechanism is very easy to operate and closing it is no problem either.
The product offers good stability even in heavy downpours and gusts of wind. The span of 90 cm is well adapted to the size of children . The rain is effectively kept out and the umbrella keeps the child dry even in heavy rain.
Apositive feature is the finger pinch protection , which contributes to the child’s safety and prevents injuries to the hands.
In terms of road safety, the product is impressive: the numerous reflectors (reflective bands along the inside and outside of the peak as well as reflective stars and dots on the galaxy pattern) ensure excellent visibility in road traffic and react well to headlights.
Overall, it is a very sturdy product that is practical to use and whose reflectors ensure optimum visibility in road traffic . The children’s umbrella impressed us in the practical test thanks to its design and good functionality.
