Manufacturer’s Product Description
The Beser ultrasonic cleaner is specifically designed for cleaning dental aligners, retainers, clear braces, and mouthguards. The device uses 46-kHz ultrasonic technology and features a 200-ml tank made of 304 stainless steel. Users can choose between a five-minute and a ten-minute ultrasonic cleaning cycle, as well as a separate light mode. A temperature control system is designed to keep the cleaning temperature below 50 °C. Additionally, the device features an automatic shut-off and various safety functions. The specified operating noise level is 39 dB, and the manufacturer states a service life of 120 months.
In testing, the device’s functional and user-friendly design was confirmed. Its effective cleaning performance, simple program selection, and high-quality build stood out as particularly positive features. The sturdy construction, watertight seal, and straightforward operation were also impressive. At 39 dB, the device also operates relatively quietly. While the typical ultrasonic noise isn’t particularly pleasant, it’s not very distracting due to the low volume.
One point of criticism is the plastic tray included in the packaging. While it secures the device firmly and protects it during transport, a more sustainable alternative would be preferable from an environmental perspective.
Overall, the ultrasonic cleaner impresses with its effective cleaning performance, high-quality build, and ease of use. Aside from the plastic tray, the device showed no notable weaknesses in testing and is well-suited for the regular cleaning of dental aligners and similar oral care devices.

Overall, the packaging made a neat and well-thought-out impression during the test. The ultrasonic cleaner was delivered in a custom-fit, sturdy cardboard box. Inside, the device was additionally secured in a plastic tray. This kept it securely in place during transport and protected it from scratches or damage. The included user manual also stood out positively. It contains the most important information on setting up, operating, and using the ultrasonic cleaner and allows for quick orientation. The manual is multilingual and written in an easy-to-understand manner. The use of the additional plastic tray is a point of criticism. While it serves its purpose as transport protection and prevents the device from shifting inside the box, a more sustainable packaging alternative would be desirable from an environmental perspective.
Overall, the packaging offers adequate protection and gives the impression of being well-designed and functional.

In practical testing, the ultrasonic cleaner impressed with its effective cleaning performance and overall ease of use. The timer function worked reliably and allowed for easy selection of the desired cleaning duration. The various programs were easy to select and ran according to the set time. Once the respective program had finished, the device automatically turned off, so the cleaning process did not need to be constantly monitored. The device also performed well in terms of cleaning performance with water. The ultrasonic cleaning operated evenly and reliably removed dirt from the dental care products tested. For everyday cleaning, using water proved to be straightforward and practical. For heavier buildup, there is also the option of using suitable cleaning tablets. As the test progressed, it became apparent that the operating noise during cleaning was not particularly pleasant. However, the noise typical of ultrasonic devices is inherent to their design and therefore not unusual. With a noise level of 39 dB as specified by the manufacturer, the device still operates very quietly compared to other ultrasonic cleaners. As a result, the noise is less disruptive overall. The device’s watertightness also performed well in the test. When used as intended, there were no water leaks or seepage. The tank was easy to fill and empty again after the cleaning cycle. Operating the controls proved to be particularly straightforward. The various functions were easy to understand and could be selected in just a few simple steps. This allowed for convenient operation even without extensive training.
Overall, the ultrasonic cleaner made a very impressive showing in the practical test. Particularly noteworthy are its effective cleaning performance, reliable timer function, and ease of use. The only drawback is the typical ultrasonic noise during operation; however, at 39 dB, it is comparatively quiet and therefore less disruptive.
