The DOMAR cable duct arrived for our test in a typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained two cable ducts, installation instructions, installation equipment, cable ties and a 2 metre cable conduit. In addition, detailed operating instructions were printed on the packaging, which could be read in German and English. Unfortunately, plastic was used in the packaging to prevent soiling. In this case, the product was fully protected and the cable boxes were therefore in perfect condition.
Unfortunately, the packaging of the cable ducts is not completely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were many items on the office desk. In addition to the two cable ducts, several mounting options, cable ties and a 2 metre cable conduit for the individual cables were supplied.
Installation and use went without a hitch. A customer hotline is also provided as a contact option. This telephone number can be found on the back of the box. All in all, this is a very good way to send a product.

We really enjoyed using the DOMARcable duct during the test. Installation is child’s play and can be carried out by anyone thanks to the good installation instructions .
In our test, the cable ducts were installed on an office desk and tested there.
The cable duct is more than suitable for office requirements, as it offers enough storage space for all desired cables and multiple sockets. We have shown this as an example in the picture on the right, so that there is enough space for a 6-socket outlet (with switch-on button) including a high charging cable.
The cable ducts look great in any office and add value to the ubiquitous cable clutter. It is particularly important to emphasise that the channels remain firmly in place and, thanks to the accessories supplied , several cables can be stowed in a cable conduit.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.6 stars. One criticism is that the dimensions are sometimes too small and individual chargers (e.g. Macbook) do not fit into the cable channel. Many customers like the fact that it has a very attractive design, the quality is very good and the cable clutter is now a thing of the past . In our practical test, we were also able to confirm these points, but we find that the dimensions are clearly communicated and are more than sufficient for most laptop chargers.
Prices of up to €53.99 (individually) are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €19.99. With a price of €30.99, the DOMAR brand cable duct is therefore in the middle price segment in our test. The price ratio is very good for the quality and scope of services you get.
