The 125 mm diameter diamond cutting disc from SOLGA is a useful, high-quality cutting disc for a small 125 mm diameter angle grinder. Installation is the same as for any cutting disc and can be carried out on your own without any problems. The high stability is striking, so that the disc cannot be bent or deformed. The packaging protects the disc, but is kept very simple, with buckling straps to hold the product in the packaging.

The diamond cutting disc is supplied in a sturdy and simple cardboard box. This is only held together by cardboard flaps. Although these protect the product sufficiently, they can be opened unintentionally. No plastic film or similar was used for the packaging . Furthermore, a detailed product brochure from the manufacturer is included, which contains, among other things, very precise application instructions regarding the speed. The brochure also contains instructions for use, which are, however, self-explanatory with regard to the use of the product.

The workmanship of the diamond cutting disc is very detailed, high quality and extremely precise. No hairline cracks, metal chips or other production residues are recognisable. The entire surface is very smooth and free of grooves. The cutting disc is very hard and does not bend by itself. The mounting holes are also very well made and enable effortless installation.

In the practical test, the coating of the cutting disc and the diamond coating were tested first. The coating on the entire cutting disc is consistently smooth, free of grooves and of high quality. The cutting edges are very sharp, so they should be handled with care. There are no recognisable manufacturing defects. The fit is perfect on a small angle grinder for 125 mm cutting discs, which could be clamped immediately without any possible wobbling or readjustment. When correctly mounted on the angle grinder in question, no imbalance or wobbling is noticeable at full speed of 12,000 revolutions . This is reflected in the cutting quality. It was possible to cut a section of a lawn corner without any problems.
