Two replacement sealing rings and a cork coaster are also included. According to the manufacturer, the quality of this product is confirmed and certified by constant quality controls. One disadvantage is that the espresso maker is not dishwasher-safe; all individual parts must be washed by hand.

The product arrived in a neutral shipping box for our test. Unfortunately, the box was not in perfect condition, but it was easy to open and the product was adequately protected. Inside the shipping box, the product was in an attractive product box with product images and the product title. The packaging box had an elegant seal with the logo, which we find very commendable. The espresso maker was in perfect condition; no defects or scratches were visible. It left us with a thoroughly positive first impression. A detailed yet brief instruction manual with explanatory pictures rounded off the overall picture.

The handle stability of the Diemker espresso maker shows no signs of weakness or overheating; the handle remains stable and cool during use. Timing to boil is also good, as the espresso starts to brew after just 4 to 5 minutes – relatively quick and straightforward. In terms of user-friendliness , the cooker proves to be a little unwieldy when removing the filter insert from the lower part of the cooker, but otherwise it is very handy and easy to use. Cleaning and care are also positive, as almost all parts, with the exception of the filter insert, are easy to dismantle, clean and reassemble. The espresso maker also works well on all types of hob, which emphasises its versatility.
