Expedition I from GOALPINE arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. The tent was also protected with plastic foil. This type of packaging provided the product with optimum protection against external influences. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and Expedition I was delivered in perfect condition . The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled. Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

The shipping box contains an outer tent, a mesh tent, three transport bags (for tent, tent poles and pegs), tent poles, four tent pegs, twelve pegs and four guy ropes. The correct assembly is described on a leaflet in German with pictures. The contact details can be found on the outer packaging and the leaflet. First of all, Expedition I makes a very good visual impression. The material is dimensionally stable and there are no visible seam defects. The outer tent is made of 210 T polyester ripstop PU 3000 mm, the inner tent of polyester and B3 mesh, the groundsheet of Oxford PU 4000 mm and the pegs of aluminum. All the materials are of a very high quality and robust. The tent also impresses with its eye-catching design.
There is no information on the sustainability of the product. However, due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life. The manufacturer also offers a 2-year guarantee in the event of significant damage.
