Protection against dust and moisture is particularly important for self-adhesive felt glides, as it ensures that the adhesive surfaces retain their adhesive strength for as long as possible. Another positive feature is the brief instruction sheet on the back of the cardboard panel, which clearly explains the most important steps for installation. Upon closer inspection, the workmanship is consistently clean. During testing, no cracks, frayed edges, material defects, or other manufacturing flaws were detected. The felt material is uniform in thickness and appears dense enough to withstand the daily stresses of furniture use. The adhesive surfaces look neat and are applied cleanly. In practical testing, the felt glides impressed with their reliable gliding performance on various pieces of furniture and floor coverings. Once attached, they adhered securely to a variety of furniture surfaces. Thanks to the range of shapes and sizes available, they proved to be highly versatile. Compatibility with various furniture legs was consistently positive. On hardwood, laminate, and tile floors, the glides allowed for smooth and effortless movement of the furniture. At the same time, scratching, sliding, and scraping noises were significantly reduced, noticeably improving the comfort of use. The protection of sensitive floors worked reliably in the test. In terms of durability, however, there were some minor shortcomings. Moderate wear on the felt material was noticeable during daily use. In particular, heavier furniture caused slightly faster wear. On floors with joints or unevenness, it also became apparent that the adhesive strength can diminish over time, allowing individual glides to shift slightly. Although functionality was maintained during the test, minor limitations are possible in the long term.
Overall, the felt glides made a convincing impression in the practical test and scored particularly well in terms of adhesion, noise reduction, floor protection, and versatility. Only in terms of long-term durability under heavy loads were minor compromises necessary.
