The HAUSPROFI ground pegs for boundary wires have been specially developed to make laying boundary wires for robotic lawnmowers as easy and efficient as possible. Onepositive aspect that stands out during initial testing is that the ground pegs can be sunk effortlessly into hard ground thanks to their stable shape and sharp end. The wide head plate provides additional support for the cable, virtually eliminating the risk of it slipping.
However, it would bedesirable for the manufacturer to use more environmentally friendly packaging in future in order to reduce its ecological footprint.
Overall, the pegs from HAUSPROFI leave a high-quality and well thought-out impression that is attractive to both hobby users and professional garden enthusiasts.

The HAUSPROFI pegs were delivered in sturdy packaging that protected the product well. The product was fully protected and the pegs arrived undamaged. However, it was noticeable that plastic film was used in the packaging, which could be improved from a sustainability perspective. The scope of delivery included the 200 pegs as well as clearly understandable operating instructions, which were easy to follow even for non-experts. The robust construction of the pegs is immediately noticeable when you first touch them. The workmanship is impeccable: no burrs, no processing errors, everything fits perfectly. The stability is also impressive – the pegs look robust and solid so that they can also be used in harder ground without hesitation. Although there is no explicit information on the sustainability of the product, the high-quality materials suggest a long service life. Overall, the pegs make a very good impression and emphasise the brand’s quality standards.

In the practical test, the HAUSPROFI ground pegs for boundary wires were convincing in all areas tested. Firstly, the stability in the ground was tested: On a medium-hard garden surface, the nails could be driven in with a hammer without any problems and held reliably in both dry and damp soil. The pull test with a spring tension device showed that the soil nails remained firmly anchored even under heavy loads – an excellent result.
The pegs also performed very well in terms of handling. They were easy to insert and remove using standard household tools such as a hammer and pliers. Installation and removal required only minimal effort and did not present any difficulties.
The nails were also convincing when it came to the accuracy of fit in the boundary wire system: they fixed the cable securely without damaging or shifting it, even with moderate pulling or light loads.
Another important aspect was the wear and tear after repeated use. After being inserted and removed ten times, only minimal signs of wear were visible, which did not impair functionality.
Finally, the cleaning test showed that the pegs could be cleaned effortlessly with water and a brush, even after heavy soiling with soil and grass. Overall, the pegs performed excellently in all test categories.
