The grey pet mat from SympaTierisch is not only a cosy place for your pet to sleep, but also extremely functional. Available in four different sizes, it is suitable for both dogs and cats. Thanks to the high-quality orthopaedic foam mattress , it provides excellent relief for your four-legged friend’s joints.
The outer microfibre cover is scratch-resistant, easy to clean, dirt-repellent and resistant to pet hair. The back of the pet mat has a non-slip base so that your pet feels comfortable when moving around and the mat does not slip.
The only disadvantage is the excessive and unnecessary plastic packaging.

The product was delivered for our test in the company’s own cardboard box, which was in perfect condition and could be opened easily without tools. Inside the box, the product was packaged in two parts: the cover and the mat were each wrapped in plastic film. This aspect is not ideal from an environmental point of view, as there are more environmentally friendly alternatives that still offer good protection against external influences.
The pet mat was in perfect condition and had no defects or damage. It made a high-quality impression. However, no instructions for use were included, although the product is self-explanatory. Additional care instructions would have been helpful to ensure that the pet mat can be optimally used and cared for.

The pet mat from SympaTierisch impresses with its attractive and functional design. The plain grey colour gives it a high-quality look. The workmanship of the mat is very good, both in terms of the seams and the zip. The non-slip base is also perfectly finished. In terms of stability , the pet mat is extremely robust, scratch-resistant and non-slip, which indicates a long service life. Although there is no specific information on sustainability , the use of high-quality materials suggests that this is a durable product.

The pet mat proved to be extremely non-slip, as it remained firmly in place throughout the test and no slippage could be detected. Neither the weight nor the movements of the pet were able to change the position of the mat. In terms of scratch resistance , the pet mat showed no visible scratches, cracks or material wear after a scratch test with a spanner. It presented itself in mint condition.
The odour neutrality of the pet mat was good, with a light and unobtrusive smell that was only perceptible on direct contact and was not noticeable in the room. The comfort of the pet mat was confirmed by the contented behaviour of the pet , which used the mat frequently. It seemed to feel comfortable, although it occasionally preferred other sleeping places.
After washing , the pet mat showed no changes in colour or shape and retained its original texture completely.
