The advantages that we noticed in the practical test are the handy and mobile design as well as the ease of use. One disadvantage we noticed is that the insect bite healer can be slightly painful or uncomfortable to use for particularly sensitive people and children.

The product arrived for our test in a neutral shipping box, which was in perfect condition and could be opened without any problems. Inside the box, the product was housed in small, customised packaging. This packaging was attractively designed and showed both product and application pictures explaining how the insect bite healer works. In addition to the packaging, we found the insect bite healer itself, two AAA batteries and a small charging cable inside. Detailed instructions for use were also included. The product was in excellent condition and left us with a very positive first impression.

The insect bite healer from IEA Medical impresses with its excellent handling, which makes it intuitive and easy to use. The product lies comfortably and lightly in the hand, while the buttons are equipped with a ribbed surface for better operability. With two temperature programmes, indicated by blue and purple light, the device is suitable for both normal and sensitive skin. The insect bite healer also has a preheating function that allows the desired temperature level to be reached quickly. The ceramic surface of the device heats up briefly on the treated skin area. A small amount of reddening may occur, but this disappears after a few minutes. Very sensitive people and children may find the application painful. A practical feature of the insect bite healer is the automatic switch-off after the programme mode. This means you don’t have to keep an eye on the timer yourself. The insect bite healer works completely silently during the entire operation, which contributes to a pleasant user experience.
