The packaging for the Peba waterproof cable connector was well matched to the size of the product, which meant that no unnecessary packaging material was used. The junction boxes arrived safely and undamaged – product protection was therefore guaranteed. However, plastic film was used to secure the individual parts, which somewhat diminishes the lasting impression. The scope of delivery included two junction boxes with all the necessary accessories, so that the installation can be carried out without any additional accessories. The enclosed instructions for use were clear and easy to understand, making the installation process even easier.
Overall, the first impression leaves a positive impression. The packaging was functional and sufficiently sturdy, while the scope of delivery provided all the necessary components. Only the use of plastic film could be replaced by a more environmentally friendly solution in the future to further emphasise the sustainable nature of the product.

The Peba waterproof cable connector impresses with its simple but attractive design in black, which is not only functional but can also be integrated unobtrusively into outdoor applications. Its compact shape, measuring 95 x 26.5 mm, makes it versatile without taking up too much space. When it comes to material quality, the product shows its best side: the use of PC+PA66 nylon, a durable and resistant plastic, not only guarantees a high load-bearing capacity, but also long-term UV resistance, so that the connector neither cracks nor fades even in intense sunlight.
The workmanship is impeccable. There are no sharp edges, processing errors or unclean areas, which indicates a high level of manufacturing precision. In terms of stability, the cable connector also fulfils all expectations: It appears robust and can easily withstand both mechanical stress and extreme weather conditions. An additional advantage is its high heat resistance up to 105 °C and its resistance to cold down to -40 °C, which makes it ideal for demanding environments.
Although there is no specific information on the sustainability of the product, the choice of materials indicates a long service life, which can be viewed favourably in terms of resource conservation. Overall, the cable connector impresses with an excellent combination of aesthetics, quality and stability, making it a reliable solution for outdoor electrical connections.

The practical test of the Peba waterproof cable connector delivered consistently convincing results. The watertightness met the highest standards: No water entered the connector during the test and the cables remained completely dry. The connector also withstood stress without any problems – there was no visible damage or functional impairment.
Assembly and handling were also rated as extremely positive. Thanks to the well thought-out lever design, all work could be carried out quickly and easily without the need for additional tools. However, we noticed during the test that the screw mechanism did not always run smoothly. The manufacturer’s specifications for compatible cable thicknesses of 4 to 12 mm were fully confirmed in the test; all tested cables fitted perfectly and held securely. Finally, the seals were inspected and were found to be in perfect condition after the practical test, with no visible wear or functional impairment.
Overall, the Peba cable connector proved that it fulfils the requirements for quality, functionality and user-friendliness under real conditions. It is therefore a reliable choice for electrical connections in outdoor areas.
