As part of our test, the Twinzee plates were tested for various aspects. The dishwasher resistance was fully confirmed – no discolouration or damage was visible even after several wash cycles. Use in the microwave also showed no deformation or material changes, although the plate heated up as expected.
The scratch resistance was not entirely convincing, as minimal scratches from cutlery were visible. However, this does not affect the overall aesthetic appearance of the plates. The odour test was particularly positive: Even after using strong-smelling foods such as onions and then cleaning by hand, no odour residues remained on the material. Another important criterion was stability. The product was fully convincing here, as no splintering or damage occurred during the drop test.
One important note relates to thermal shock resistance. Although the material has a high heat resistance, abrupt temperature changes, such as placing the plate directly from the freezer into the oven, should be avoided. However, this is a general recommendation for crockery and not a product-specific weakness.
The large stoneware plates from Twinzee impress with their elegant design, durability and excellent heat resistance. They are easy to clean, odourless and stable. Overall, the product fulfils all its advertising promises and is a clear recommendation for consumers looking for high-quality tableware that is suitable for everyday use .
