The LUSEE movement set was delivered in compact and secure packaging that protected the contents well during transport. The individual components were neatly arranged and additionally secured with plastic film. However, more sustainable packaging without plastic film would have been desirable. The package contains two quartz movements, five sets of clock hands (consisting of hour, minute and second hands) and the necessary mounting material. There is an instruction manual, but it could be more detailed to make assembly easier, especially for beginners. Overall, the set gives a solid first impression and promises a wide range of possible uses for various clock projects.

There are no specific details regarding sustainability, but the robust construction indicates a long service life. Overall, the set leaves a positive impression in terms of design and workmanship.

The LUSEE movement for wall clocks was fully convincing in the practical test. The product scored full marks in the hand movement function test – the hands moved smoothly during the test phase without any interference and showed perfect responsiveness in all settings. The product achieved the second-best score in the movement noise test and the hand assembly test – the ticking was only faintly perceptible in absolute silence and the hands were almost completely fixed, with only minimal, functionally insignificant movement. In the other test categories, including time accuracy over 24 hours and legibility from different angles, the product showed no weaknesses and also received full marks. These test results confirm the silence, precision and quality of the movement promised by the manufacturer. The product is therefore ideal for precise and trouble-free indoor wall clocks.
