In our test, the MANGONY lifestyle suit from Nebulus impressed us all round and left a very good impression. The suit for men consists of a fleece jacket and long jogging trousers made from the same fleece fabric. The combination is currently only available in cobalt blue and in size XL. However, we received the jacket in size L for our test. Unfortunately, the jacket is too big for our tester. However, the material quality and workmanship were impressive. The practical test shows that both garments fit very comfortably , keep you warm and the jacket can be flexibly adjusted to different temperatures thanks to the zip and elasticated drawstring. The only thing we would have liked is for the pockets to be able to be closed so that no objects can fall out during sporting activities.

The packaging and labelling
ℹ️ Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be ensured.

In our case, the MANGONY lifestyle suit from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box . The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with the help of a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimised, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilisation of the transport vehicles. Inside the box was the MANGONY lifestyle suit in its product packaging.
The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which theMANGONY lifestyle suit was packed. The film is tear-resistant and non-stretchable. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode, the product name and the size of the lifestyle suit. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English. The top of the bag has an opening that is sealed with an adhesive strip on the film. The adhesive strip is reusable. If the lifestyle suit is to be returned, the bag can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. There is a layer of thin paper between the individual layers of the folded Lifestyle suit to prevent the suit fabric from rubbing against each other during transport.
The MANGONY lifestyle suit is very well protected from damage and soiling by the cardboard box and the plastic bag.

For our test, we received the MANGONY lifestyle suit in the blue colour cobalt. This is the only colour currently available. The suit is designed for men and is made almost entirely from blue fleece fabric. The strong blue colour matches the fleece surface perfectly. The seams of the top are white, as is the cord on the waistband. The jacket zip is also white. The suit is also decorated with several patches in the typical Nebulus style. A visual highlight is the inside of the collar, which has another layer of fabric sewn onto it in the design of the Norwegian flag.
The jacket ‘s zip runs the entire length of the top, allowing the jacket to be opened completely. The jacket also has two pockets without fasteners at waist height. The corresponding inner pockets have a separate front and back, which are only connected to the rest of the jacket via the zip and a short, narrow strip of fleece fabric. An elasticated band is sewn into the bottom of the jacket, which can be adjusted in circumference using a clip.
The long jogging trousers have an elasticated waistband. A drawstring is also sewn into the waistband, which can be tied at the front. Another feature is the two small eyelets sewn into the waistband on both sides. This means that the trousers can even be hung on coat hooks. Like the jacket, the trousers also have two pockets, but these cannot be closed either.
The fabric of the suit is the same for the top and trousers. It is rather thin, slightly stretchy in a small area and tear-resistant. Thanks to the fleece surface, the fabric is nevertheless very fluffy. According to the manufacturer, the suit is made entirely of polyester. The fabric is single-layered and the surface is almost identical on the inside and outside. However, as it feels good to the touch, which is typical of fleece, this is not a disadvantage. The seams are all even and neat. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any, they are only very short. Apart from this, the Lifestyle suit has no other manufacturing faults.
Overall, the Lifestyle suit in the strong blue is a polarising yet fashionable garment made from soft fleece fabric. The quality of the fabrics used, the seams and the overall finish are also impressive .

The MANGONY lifestyle suit is currently only sold in size XL. However, we received the suit in size L for our test. As expected, our tester, who is 170 cm tall, found the suit too big in size L, as he usually wears a size S. What is surprising, however, is that the jacket does not hang down baggy, but cuts a good figure even in plus sizes. Although the two pieces are only made of one layer of fabric, they keep you cosy and warm.
Instead of a hood, the jacket has a high collar. This is not too tight and fits comfortably around the neck. As additional protection against the cold, the jacket has a non-adjustable elasticated band at the bottom and at the sleeve ends. This effectively prevents the penetration of cold air from below, even during dynamic movement. The advantage of the separate belly pockets also becomes apparent in the cold: The pocket lies completely inside the jacket. This not only keeps your hands warm, it can also be used to store battery-powered devices such as mobile phones. However, the pockets do not have a zip, so there is a risk of something getting lost from the pockets.
Thanks to the elasticated waistband, the trousers fit very comfortably and stay in place even without tying the drawstring. If the pockets are loaded with heavy items, the trousers are secured against slipping with the drawstring . Unfortunately, the lack of a fastening option for the trouser pockets also means that items can fall out. In particular, we would have liked to see a zipor something similar in the pockets of the trousers so that we could safely take a key with us when jogging.
In the last part of our practical test, we wash the set according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the MANGONY lifestyle suit, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C, without drying and ironing at 110 °C, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. Unfortunately, washing at 60 °C, as would be recommended after sporting activities or heavy soiling, for example, is not possible. After washing, the laundry smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no recognisable difference. The suit survives the washing process without damage or fading.
Overall, the MANGONY lifestyle suit impressed us in our practical test. It is very comfortable, keeps you nice and warm and also withstands washing without any problems.
Price/performance ratio
and ratings from consumers
ℹ️ Finally, we look at how the product compares to the competition. Can it keep up with the competition in terms of price and quality? Would we generally recommend buying it? We also analyse consumer reviews and check whether the critical and positive reviews are actually justified.
Criterion | Remark | Points achieved* |
---|---|---|
Price / performance ratio | Very good quality in the mid-price segment | 80 points |
Rating cut | Not rated, as there are still too few customer reviews | |

Prices of up to €76.90 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €20.53. The MANGONY lifestyle suit from Nebulus currently has a price of €39.99 in the Nebulus shop, which puts it in the mid-price segment. The price is reasonable for the quality and scope of services you get.
