The packaging of the Fun Disc Classic from MFT Bodyteamwork GmbH left a positive first impression. It was optimised for the size of the balance board and did not contain any superfluous packaging material. The sturdy cardboard box offered sufficient protection during transport. It was particularly pleasing that no plastic was used and the cardboard was made from recycled material. This emphasises the ecological and sustainable orientation of MFT Bodyteamwork GmbH. In addition to the board, a flyer with information on other products is included. An instruction manual is not included, but is not necessary due to the intuitive handling. There are also numerous exercises available on the manufacturer’s website, which are explained in the form of video instructions.

This finish makes training comfortable and supports a long service life. The sturdy construction contributes to the durability of the disc. A special feature are the two K-rockers, which have a soft anti-slip coating. This coating not only ensures high slip resistance, but also protects the floor from scratches or wear and tear. The integrated Senso Ball made of hard-wearing rubber material enables balanced and controlled rocking, which makes training more efficient. The well thought-out design and careful workmanship make the Fun Disc Classic a reliable training device for fitness and rehabilitation purposes. It offers the user a comfortable, stable and safe training platform that focusses on sustainability and functionality.

In the practical test, the Fun Disc Classic showed its strengths in its combination of stability, versatility and functionality. On all tested surfaces – carpet, tiles and parquet – the disc remained securely in place thanks to its soft, non-slip base, which enabled carefree training. The abrasion-resistant textured coating of the base provided a firm and secure grip both during barefoot training and when wearing trainers, without restricting freedom of movement. In the test with socks, full grip was not always guaranteed. An increase in the coating would be desirable here. The possibility of using the disc for different types of training was particularly noteworthy: Users were able to switch flexibly between an axis-compliant rocking movement and training as a therapy gyroscope, which enabled targeted promotion of coordination and stability. In the load tests, the disc withstood even higher weight loads without any problems and showed no signs of deformation or wear. The durable construction of the disc was confirmed by repeated rocking movements and intensive training sessions, with no visible signs of wear. In addition, the robust Senso Ball enables a smooth and controlled movement, which ensures efficient and safe training. Overall, the Fun Disc Classic was able to prove its versatility and stability in all areas tested.
