As part of our practical test, we thoroughly examined the Montessori Busy Board and documented the results using the specified test methods. The product impresses with its child-friendly workmanship. The soft, skin-friendly material is comfortable for small hands to hold, and all elements are securely attached . We did not find any sharp edges or loose small parts. Even after repeated, intensive play, the connections remained stable . Even when pulled hard and repeatedly opened and closed, there were no signs of wear. The Busy Board offers a successful mix of everyday exercises and playful learning content. Children can open and close buttons, operate zippers, discover animal motifs and thus train not only their fine motor skills but also their language comprehension . Particularly positive is the versatility, which appeals to both cognitive and motor development in equal measure. With its compact size and light weight, the board is extremely handy. It can be easily stored in a bag and is ideal for travelling, restaurant visits or car journeys. Even children’s hands can easily hold the board and explore it independently. The Busy Board is designed for children aged 18 months and older and covers a wide range of developmental areas. Younger children benefit from the simpler activities, while older children can master increasingly complex tasks. This means that the toy practically grows with the child. Some fine motor skills exercises – such as fastening buttons – may still be a little challenging for the youngest users, but remain a useful incentive.
