With Manuka honey from the NaturaleBio brand, we have tested a very high-quality premium honey. The quality of the 100% laboratory-tested honey from the North Island of New Zealand leaves nothing to be desired thanks to its very high methylglyoxal value (800+ MGO). In our practical test, it demonstrated an outstanding flavour in a wide variety of applications – pure, in a hot drink or as a spread. The product also stands out thanks to its health benefits, which are recognised by experts, such as for sore throats and general well-being. The only thing the manufacturer should reconsider is the decision to use plastic packaging. Overall, however, the product leaves a very good impression.

Manuka honey from the Naturale Bio brand cuts an excellent figure in the practical test. The flavour can be described as pleasantly sweet with a slightly spicy caramel note. Both pure and on bread or in tea, the manuka honey was convincing in our taste test and added a pleasant note.
This sweet and spicy impression can also be found in the flavour. The consistency of the honey is pleasantly creamy, so that it only runs off the spoon slowly.
In addition to this rather subjective taste experience, the honey is particularly impressive due to its top quality (800+ MGO). Free from additives, this product of nature is not only characterised as a delicacy, but also impresses with its positive effect in protecting the skin, soothing sore throats and maintaining general well-being.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.6 stars. One common criticism is that the product is supplied in a plastic container instead of a glass jar. Many customers like the flavour and wholesomeness as well as the quality of the product. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that this is an exceptionally high-quality product. We can understand the justified demand for bottling in glass jars. At the same time, we attribute the manufacturer’s packaging to the considerably less complicated shipping process, which saves resources and is more sustainable .
Prices of up to €289/kg are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very cheap products are available from as little as €223.84/kg. NaturaleBio ‘s manuka honey is therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of € 225.98/kg. The price-performance ratio isreasonable for the quality and service received.
