The only relatively minor flaw for us is that the FixClip fastening mechanism is somewhat difficult to release, depending on the dishwasher model.

The Olleira FixClip cutlery basket was delivered in compact packaging adapted to the size of the product, which completely dispenses with plastic and therefore leaves a lasting impression. The product reached us in perfect condition, without scratches or soiling, which speaks for effective product protection. The scope of delivery includes the cutlery basket and the carrying handle, as described in the product description.
Although the product is self-explanatory, a practical, illustrated card with product information and customer service information is included, which also contains assembly instructions. Overall, the packaging gives a well thought-out and environmentally friendly impression, which underlines the high-quality character of the product.

On first contact, the Olleira FixClip cutlery basket impresses with its attractive and unobtrusive design. In our test, we examine the model with a gray cutlery basket and green carrying handle. A version with a gray handle is also available. The FixClip fastening mechanism is green in both cases.
The workmanship is high quality and flawless, with no sharp edges, which indicates careful manufacture. The basket appears stable and robust, suitable for use in the dishwasher and heat-resistant up to 120 °C.

In a practical test, we checked the compatibility of the Olleira FixClip cutlery basket with various dishwasher models such as Bosch, Siemens and Gorenje and were able to confirm the universal fit. The handle is attached to the basket once before first use using a click system and remains stable even when fully loaded, which underlines the load capacity promised by the manufacturer. Overall, the basket is easy to handle thanks to its open compartments and well thought-out design. However, depending on the dishwasher model, the fastening clip proved to be difficult to detach, which can make it difficult to remove the entire basket. In this respect, the customer does not experience any restrictions if this is not desired anyway. At the same time, our experience confirms the very good holding power and stability of the basket in the dishwasher.
The cleaning properties of the basket are excellent. Round corners prevent dirt from accumulating and the super-smooth surface with lotus effect ensures that the rack is cleaned automatically with every wash cycle.
The flexibility of the basket allows it to hold different types of cutlery thanks to six smaller and one larger compartment, although an additional holder from above would have been desirable. However, this is more of a design decision and should therefore not be seen as a negative.
Overall, we consider the Olleira cutlery basket to be a practical and well thought-out addition if the dishwasher manufacturer’s cutlery basket does not offer satisfactory stability. The product impresses in every respect in the practical test.
