The BENTY long-sleeved polo shirt from Nebulus made a very good overall impression in our test. The polo shirt has three buttons on the front and various decorative elements. It is available in six colors and six sizes for men. There is a choice of three colors and four different sizes for women. For our test, we received the polo shirt in black in size M for men and size S for women. The polo shirt fits our testers like a glove. The material quality and workmanship were just as impressive as the polo shirt in the practical test. This shows that the polo shirt fits comfortably for a long time and ensures good ventilation even at high temperatures despite the sporty cut. In our case, the BENTY polo shirt from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box . The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. Inside the box was the BENTY polo shirt in its product packaging.
The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the polo shirt was packed. The film is tear-resistant and cannot be stretched. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode, the product name and the size of the polo shirt. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English.
The bag has an opening at the top, which is sealed with an adhesive strip on the film. The adhesive strip is reusable. If the polo shirt is to be returned, the bag can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. There is another layer of thin paper between the individual layers of the folded polo shirt to prevent the fabric of the polo shirt from rubbing together during transportation.

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the package complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

As you would expect, the BENTY polo shirt does not require any additional accessories and is delivered without them. There is a cardboard disc the size of a beer mat on the label, which is printed on both sides in high gloss with the Nebulus logo, which can also be found on the product packaging.

For our test, we received the BENTY polo shirt for men in navy and for women in black. The polo shirt is evenly woven from fine threads and feels comfortable both inside and out. As is usual with polo shirts, the polo shirt has an opening at the front that reaches down to the chest. This overlaps a strip around three centimetres wide, on which there are three overlapping buttons. The buttons are black to match the rest of the polo shirt. The polo shirt does not have a breast pocket. A second layer of fabric made from a fine weave is sewn onto the outside of the collar. This also makes the collar thicker than the rest of the fabric and therefore particularly dimensionally stable. The fabric has a typical Norwegian flag design. In addition to the subtle color, the polo shirt has some special design elements. These include the patch on the left chest, the Nebulus lettering on the right chest and patches on both sleeves that borrow from the Norwegian flag, the North Pole and the Nebulus lettering. The polo shirt features large lettering on the back, which is printed in the middle of the upper back area. This is also appropriately Norwegian in style. Further style elements can be found on the elbows and at the end of the left sleeve. The T-shirt also has some elements in the contrasting color white. These include the seam at the bottom of the polo shirt and at the ends of both sleeves. The patch on the chest is also attached with a white seam. As a special extra, the back fabric layer of the overlapping area around the chest opening is also in white fabric. The fabric of the polo shirt is stretchy and tear-resistant within limits. Although it is not particularly thick and therefore pleasantly light, it is completely opaque. According to the label, the T-shirt is made entirely of cotton. The seams are all even and neat. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any, they are only very short. Apart from this, there are no manufacturing faults on the polo shirt. The polo shirt has the typical, pleasant smell of brand-new clothing. Overall, the black polo shirt with white seams, the large number of patches and the depiction of the Norwegian flag in the collar is a fashionable item of clothing with a discreet yet exciting design. The quality of the fabrics and seams used and the overall finish are also impressive.

The BENTY polo shirt is sold in various sizes between S and 3XL. Sizes S to XL are available for the women’s version. In our test, we received the polo shirt in M for men and S for women. The polo shirt fits our tester, who is 170 cm tall, like a glove. The women’s model in S also fits our tester, who is just over 1.60 m tall, very well. The sleeves of the polo shirt are also cut to fit just after the base of the hand. The shirt has a sporty fit and fits well, but is still very comfortable. The fabric feels pleasant on the skin, as you would expect from a polo shirt. Another positive aspect is that there are no annoying labels on the inside, which can be noticeable when worn by scratching. The existing label has soft edges and is not noticeable. The polo shirt can be personalized using the three buttons. The three buttons can be closed, partially opened or fully opened. Depending on the choice, the result is a cut-out or the shirt is closed tightly up to the collar. If the buttons are opened, the contrasting color, in our case white, is also visible behind the overlap. If the top button is also closed, nothing is visible. The neckline of the polo shirt is then tight, but without being uncomfortably constricting. The low weight of the polo shirt is also pleasantly noticeable when worn. The shirt is therefore not uncomfortable even during sporting activity. The fabric is also slightly permeable to air, making it comfortable to wear even at high temperatures. In this context, the cut of the polo shirt is particularly impressive. Although the polo shirt is figure-hugging, it does not sit directly on the body. This leaves a thin layer of air between the fabric and the body, which ensures good heat dissipation in high temperatures or during physical exertion. In the last part of our practical test, we wash the polo shirt according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the BENTY polo shirt, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C without drying and ironing at 110 °C, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. After washing, the laundry smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. The polo shirt and the print survive the washing process without any damage or fading. All in all, the BENTY polo shirt was thoroughly convincing in our practical test. It fits comfortably, can be used flexibly, has an advantageous cut and also withstands washing without any problems.
