In our extensive practical test of the VABNEER protective caps, we thoroughly scrutinised the manufacturer’s advertising claims. The caps fit well on most leg shapes, although slight instabilities can occasionally be detected during movement. However, these minor adjustment problems are tolerable as long as the overall functionality remains guaranteed. The excellent slip resistance should be emphasised in particular; no slipping movements occurred on any of the floor coverings tested, even under increased load.
The scratch resistance of the protective caps is also remarkable, leaving no marks or damage on sensitive floors. In addition, the caps provide excellent sound insulation, so that hardly any audible noise is produced when the chairs are moved, which contributes to a pleasant living environment. After cleaning , the caps were completely clean and showed no signs of damage or discolouration. Overall, the product fulfils the manufacturer’s advertising promises to a high degree and offers convincing performance in daily use.
