In the practical test of the AKSOULself-inflating sleeping mat , airtightness was a key aspect. After 24 hours, the sleeping mat showed only a minimal drop in pressure, which in practice did not affect either the perceived hardness or sleeping comfort. Visually, the air loss was barely noticeable, so the mat performed very well in this respect.
The functionality of the integrated foot pump also proved to be reliable. Although the measured inflation time was slightly longer than the specified time, the mat could still be inflated within a short period of time. This is a clear advantage for outdoor use, as inflation is hygienic and requires no additional aids.
The insulation capacity was particularly impressive. During the test period, no cold was felt from the ground. The mat effectively absorbed body heat and prevented a drop in temperature.
The set-up and dismantling time was also impressive. The mat could be set up in less than three minutes and packed away again in under two minutes. The entire process was quick and straightforward, which is very practical for outdoor use.
