The door seal from Shinfly made a very good impression in our test. The product has a simple design and leaves a very good visual impression. There are no processing errors and the material is elastic and dimensionally stable. Installation is simple and can be carried out by anyone. The door seal provides protection against draughts and insects and insulates against noise. No reduction in odors could be detected. When opening the door, quiet grinding noises and a slight braking effect can be heard, which did not bother us in the test. Customers can choose between white, brown and black as well as different set sizes . A transparent design would be desirable.

The door seal from Shinfly arrived for our test in the typical Amazon shipping box. It was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the product box, the door seal was wrapped in plastic film. This packaging method ensures that the product is optimally protected from external influences and shipped hygienically. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the door seal was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. In contrast, the plastic film cannot be recycled. Regardless of this, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

First of all, it should be mentioned that the door seal makes a very good visual impression. We did not notice any processing errors, the material is elastic but still retains its shape. The adhesive strip is continuous and clean. Overall, the product has a rather simple design that integrates well into most rooms.
There is no information about the sustainability of the product on the product page or on the packaging. However, due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life.

We enjoyed using the door seal during the test. Installation is child’s play and can be carried out by anyone. All you have to do is clean the surface of the door, remove the protective film from the adhesive and position the seal where you want it. According to the manufacturer, the adhesive sticks to any surface. The product can then be easily cut to the desired size, or even beforehand. It should be noted that the initial size is 100 cm or 200 cm and is therefore also suitable for (extra) wide doors. The door seal not only provides protection against draughts, but also against insects and insulates against noise. We did not notice any reduction in odors . When opening the door, a quiet grinding noise can be heard and the seal slows down a little, which did not bother us any further in the test.
Customers can currently choose from the colors white, black and brown as well as different set sizes. A transparent design would be desirable.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.2 stars. Some complain that the volume with which the product “drags” across the floor is too loud, the adhesive strip does not adhere to all surfaces and does not seal completely. In contrast, other customers confirm the functionality of the product in terms of noise insulation and draught-proofing . The ease of installation is also praised. In our practical test, we can confirm that installation was quick and easy and that it provides noise insulation and draught-proofing. However, we also noticed the“dragging” on the floor.
Prices of up to €27 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as €7. The door seal from Shinfly is therefore in the lower price segment with a current price of €6.99 . Consequently, the price ratio is very good for the quality and scope of services you receive.
