Packaging
The storage boxes from homeburg arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival and could be opened easily by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the product box, the xy was wrapped in plastic film. This type of packaging ensured that the product was optimally protected from external influences and shipped hygienically. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the storage tins were delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled . Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

First of all, the storage containers make a very good visual impression. There are no recognizable manufacturing defects . In addition, all transitions are cleanly finished and there are no scratches or edges to be seen. The processed material looks very sturdy and can withstand a small fall without breaking. The product also impresses with its simple and timeless design.
Sustainability has been taken into consideration at homeburg, as the storage containers can be washed in the dishwasher at up to 70 degrees. The materials used also look very high quality, which is why we expect them to last a long time.

The storage containers have a practical “one-touch” function that allows them to be opened and closed at the touch of a button . They are also dishwasher-safe and retained their shape and color in the test even after the first wash cycle. The silicone ring around the lid makes the product leak-proof and airtight. This protects the contents from air, moisture and insects. In our test, the container was even able to keep liquids inside without leaking.
With a capacity of 1200 ml, a large amount of food (e.g. a whole kilo of flour) can be stored. This means that opened packs do not have to be stored separately. The individual tins can also be stacked on top of each other. Thanks to the simple design and compact size of the jars (transparent jar with white lid), the storage jars fit into any kitchen or pantry.
