The Youngdo bike saddle demonstrated an impressive combination of comfort, stability and functionality in the practical test. When testing the ergonomics and seating comfort, the high-quality padding was convincing, causing no pressure points or discomfort even on longer test rides. The shape of the saddle optimally supported the sit bones, while the shock-absorbing properties ensured a comfortable riding experience.
Unfortunately, mounting and dismounting proved to be less straightforward. While installation on one bike went smoothly, incompatibility with another model led to slight problems.
In terms of stability and resilience, the saddle also withstood intensive load tests. Neither static nor dynamic tests led to deformations or other defects. The quality of materials and workmanship was excellent: Clean seams and high-quality materials ensured long-lasting use, with no visible damage even under intensive use.
Another plus point was the non-slip surface. Even when wet, the saddle remained grippy and offered a secure hold. The enclosed waterproof cover also provided reliable protection against rain and protected the saddle from moisture damage.
The practical test thus confirmed that the Youngdo bike saddle lives up to its advertising promises and is an excellent choice for cyclists.
