The CoolHome tower fan impresses in our practical test in almost all categories with a very good performance. In addition to a modern, appealing look and good airflow performance, the product offers a high degree of flexibility thanks to the many different modes and additional functions that the manufacturer has implemented. Operation via remote control or on the device itself is simple and convenient, although other products from the manufacturer have a Wi-Fi connection, which we would also have liked to see on this device. Apart from this, however, the device leaves nothing to be desired and therefore qualifies for an absolute recommendation of the product with a very good overall rating.

The CoolHome tower fan arrives in compact cardboard packaging, which is printed with the most important data and functions of the device. The cardboard box looks sturdy and protects the product adequately. In addition, the product protection is ensured by a separate film covering the device and polystyrene spacers, which prevent the product from slipping and protect it from mechanical pressure from the outside. The remote control is even supplied with a button battery so that nothing stands in the way of immediate use. The enclosed instruction manual is written in four different languages and is very easy to understand. In the appendix, the manufacturer also provides information on customer service and offers a one-year warranty extension when registering the product online at . Overall, the product makes a very good first impression.

We find the visual appearance of the tower fan appealing and modern. The matt black look of the device blends inconspicuously into almost any room, while the slim product design, the round user interface and the LED display create a modern impression.
The workmanship is generally flawless and of high quality. No faults or weak points can be identified. All edges are clean and even.
The fan makes a solid and relatively robust impression. The base plate is wide enough to keep the fan stable on a flat floor. At the same time, the components are appropriate for the intended use and are therefore “only” made of plastic. The product should therefore not be exposed to increased mechanical stress that is not appropriate for its intended use.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide any information on the sustainability of the product. However, it is a device built for long-term and repeated use, which is why we can still assume a certain level of sustainability.

In our practical test, the fan makes a very good overall impression.
The base plate is generally very easy to install from the underside using four screws. Thanks to the supplied battery for the remote control, the test could therefore be started in just a few minutes.
The performance of the fan is absolutely satisfactory. The device generates a constant air flow that can be regulated in three stages and adjusted as required. According to the test period, we ran the device in warm indoor offices and server rooms. Here, the medium setting level was sufficient for pleasant air circulation.
The device is controlled by remote control or via the control panel at the head end. All buttons and switches can be operated smoothly and easily. Unfortunately, the product does not allow control via Wi-Fi, as is the case with similar products from the manufacturer. This function would be desirable, even if it is only a very minor disadvantage.
However, the device is particularly impressive thanks to the many different modes (sleep, children’s, nature mode), additional functions and general setting options. In addition to the classic settings such as air flow strength, rotation and timer function, an ionizer can also be added for air purification or natural gusts of wind can be imitated in nature mode. The device therefore offers a high degree of flexibility and is equipped for different requirements.
For storage, the device also has a practical cable clip to which the power cable can be attached and a small compartment in which the remote control fits.
Cleaning is easy with a hand brush or vacuum cleaner. Liquids and cleaning agents are both superfluous and harmful to the device, and overall the product impresses with its high degree of flexibility, which is reflected in the very good overall rating.
