The COSY fleece pullover from Nebulus made a very good overall impression in our test. The fleece pullover has a hood. The pullover is available in seven different colors for men. Six different sizes are also available. For our test, we received the sweater in red and in size XXL. The material quality and workmanship were just as impressive as the sweater in the practical test. This shows that the sweater is comfortable to wear for a long time and the long sleeves keep your hands pleasantly warm.

We have looked at and tested the product in detail in a practical test. In the following, we take a closer look at the features and impressions. The product is subjected to our test procedure from the packaging, materials and quality to the range of functions and handling.

ℹ️ Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be ensured.

In our case, the COSY fleece sweater from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box. The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. Inside the box was the COSY fleece pullover in its product packaging. The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the COSY fleece pullover was packed. The film is tear-resistant and non-stretchable. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode, the product name and the size of the fleece pullover. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English. The top of the bag has an opening which is sealed with an adhesive strip on the film. The adhesive strip is reusable. If the sweater is to be returned, the bag can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. There is another layer of thin paper between the individual layers of the folded sweater so that the fabric of the sweater does not rub together during transportation. The tag on the zipper is also wrapped in thin packaging paper. The shipping box and plastic bag protect the COSY fleece sweater very well from damage and soiling.

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the package complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

As expected, the COSY fleece pullover does not require any additional accessories and is delivered without them. On the label there is a cardboard disc the size of a beer mat, which is printed on both sides in high gloss with the Nebulus logo, which can also be found on the product packaging. It is striking that according to the label on the transparent plastic film, the fleece pullover should be supplied in size M. However, this packaging contains the fleece pullover. However, this packaging contains the fleece pullover for men in size XXL.
There are no instructions for use, but they are not needed. Washing instructions can be found on a label on the inside of the pullover, where this is shown with the familiar symbols. There is also information on the material composition of the COSY fleece sweater as well as the size and product name.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

For our test, we received the COSY fleece sweater for men in red. In addition to this color, Nebulus also offers the pullover in black, lime, light grey and in the blue tones navy, cobalt and malibu. The red color of our test pullover is very elegant and gives a subtle and timeless look.
The fleece sweater is made from a soft and comfortable fleece fabric that offers optimum comfort. The fabric is even and feels good against the skin. The fleece sweater does not have pockets or a collar. However, it does have a hood. As a color contrast to the red base color, the sweater has some dark blue seams and a variety of patches and lettering. Nebulus lettering and the Norwegian flag are sewn onto the right chest. There is also a round patch with Nebulus letter ing and the Norwegian flag on the right chest. The Norwegian flag is sewn onto the left shoulder. There is also embroidered Nebulus lettering at the end of the right sleeve. As a special extra, there is also a patch with the Nebulus lettering on the back of the fleece pullover. The Norwegian flag is in the background of this lettering. These accents with the colors red, blue and white add color to the red base tone and create an interesting visual effect. A second layer of fabric is sewn onto the inside of the hood, which is made from a fine weave. The inside of the hood is particularly eye-catching, with a typical Norwegian flag design. The hood band is approx. two centimetres wide and dark blue in color. This additional contrast to the color of the sweater gives the hood a special touch and adds another eye-catching accent to the overall look.
An elastic band is sewn into the bottom of the sweater, the circumference of which can be adjusted using a clip. The fabric of the sweater is rather thin, slightly stretchy in a small area and tear-resistant. According to the manufacturer, the sweater is made entirely of polyester. The fabric is single-layered and the surface on the inside and outside is the same. However, this is not a disadvantage as the fleece feels good. The seams are all even and clean. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any, they are only very short. Apart from this, the sweater has no other manufacturing faults.
Overall, the red fleece sweater with the large number of patches and the depiction of the Norwegian flag on the shoulder and the inside of the hood is a fashionable item of clothing that is polarizing depending on the shade, but always appealing. The quality of the fabrics and seams used and the overall finish are also impressive.

ℹ️ Our practical test is the most relevant and therefore the most important. Here, the product has to undergo a wide range of criteria and tests. We check the functions and product promises of the test article.

The COSY fleece pullover is sold in various sizes. These range from S to 3XL for men. It is noticeable that according to the label on the transparent plastic film, the fleece sweater should be supplied in size M. In our test, however, we received the men’s pullover in size XXL. As you would expect, the men’s version is clearly too big for our 170 cm tall tester. This is not surprising, as our tester normally wears a size M. Nevertheless, the sleeves of the sweater appear relatively long and allow the hands to disappear into them for warmth. This is particularly advantageous when working with a keyboard in winter. The sleeves can be pulled up to the fingers and keep the hands pleasantly warm. This is a great advantage, especially for people with poor circulation.
The sweater sits very comfortably even after long periods of wear. Although it only consists of one layer of fabric, it keeps you very warm. The fleece sweater is also relatively light, which is a particular advantage during sporting activities.
The hood in particular has a function: when the hood is pulled up, at least the back of the head is covered and the head is effectively protected from the cold. However, even with the hood up, the fabric does not lie against the neck, which remains unprotected.
The only temperature-relevant change to the fleece pullover is to put the hood on or take it off. This means that the pullover cannot be adjusted to a wide temperature range.
In the last part of our practical test, we wash the fleece pullover according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the COSY fleece sweater, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C without drying and ironing at 110 °C, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. Unfortunately, washing at 60 °C, as would be recommended after sporting activities or heavy soiling, for example, is not possible. After washing, the laundry smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. The fleece sweater survives the washing process without any damage or fading.
All in all, the COSY fleece sweater was thoroughly convincing in our practical test. It is very comfortable, keeps you pleasantly warm and also withstands washing without any problems.

ℹ️ Finally, we look at how the product compares to the competition. Can it keep up with the competition in terms of price and quality? Would we generally recommend buying it? We also examine consumer ratings and check whether the critical and positive reviews are actually justified.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.7 stars. Customers are often dissatisfied with the fit and sizing. Many customers like the quality and comfort of the fleece sweater. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the quality was good.
