The infrared heater from Tretmann made a very good impression in our test. The product is a fast-heating and heat-storing infrared heater with a thermostat. The material is a full metal housing and the processing was carried out in Europe. The wall heater is safely protected against fire and is TÜV tested and certified. The infrared heater is easy to install in just a few steps thanks to the fixing material supplied and the Quick Up bracket with drilling template. The wall heater is heated using a normal power cable. The product heats the environmentrelatively quickly and effectively, without any annoying noises.
The infrared heater is available in four different versions. The 1000 watt heating panel available to us for testing is kept in a plain white colour and is therefore hardly noticeable on white walls. The heater is installed horizontally and is 120 cm wide and 57 cm high. The depth is only 1.5 cm, which means that the appliance blends even more discreetly into the room.
The infrared heater has no sharp edges or corners.

The infrared heaterfrom Tretmann arrived for our test in a cardboard box. It was easy to open by removing the adhesive strips and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the wall heater, the Quick Up bracket with matching screws and plugs, drilling template and operating instructions. The contact details of the German contact person are given on the flyer with the company name, e-mail address and hotline . The manufacturer’s address can be found on the operating instructions. To ensure safe transport, the electric heater was secured inside with polystyrene. In this case, the product was fully protected and the infrared heater was therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging of the wall heater is largely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were several things on the workbench. In addition to the infrared heater with operating instructions and flyer, the drilling template , suitable screws and plugs as well as a Quick Up bracket were included. Information on the use and care of the product can be found in the operating instructions, which are clearly written in both German and 12 other languages. The complete contact information is given on the enclosed flyer and the customer is kindly informed that the German customer service can be contacted at any time using the contact details provided. All in all, this is an exceptionally well thought-out and customer-friendly way of sending a product.

The infrared heater is very quick and easy toinstall using the drilling template and accessories supplied. However, a second person can help to hang the 14 kg panel securely.
Thanks to the high-quality material, the heater heats up very quickly. This type of heat is particularly suitable for asthmatics and rheumatism patients because the infrared heater does not stir up any more dust.
A thermostat is installed on the heating plate. This allows you to set your desired temperature and this is kept constant when the appliance is in operation.
Only a longer test phase will provide meaningful data on the exact amount of energy costs and the actual efficiency in continuous operation as the sole heat source.
We personally think it’s a shame that the heater has to be permanently installed on the wall, as rollable feet would be ideal to make the infrared heater more versatile for use in different rooms.
In short, however, it is still a great product that is particularly enjoyable in the transitional period.
