The cardboard box of the LED outdoor spotlight from Proxinova is sturdy and has adequately protected the product during transport. This ensured that neither the spotlight itself nor the more sensitive components such as motion sensors or LED lights were damaged by external influences.
The product also impressed in terms of the sustainability of the packaging . The packaging was reduced to the essentials and there was hardly any superfluous packaging waste. The plastic used served to hold small parts such as screws together and protect the lamp, but could be replaced by a more environmentally friendly alternative if necessary. The packaging was also compact, which made both shipping more efficient and disposal easier.
The contents of the packaging were as expected. All the components specified in the product description were present in full. In addition to the LED spotlight, this also included the mounting material such as screws and the self-adhesive 3M pad.
The operating instructions were clear and well structured. It should only be mentioned that it is only available in printed form in English. However, it is possible to access the instructions in four other languages, including German, via a QR code. This could be a little awkward for older people who have difficulties with technical devices, as finding the languages requires some patience. Overall, however, this is not a major obstacle as the instructions are in plain English and are supported by clear pictures.

The motion sensor of the LED outdoor spotlight from Proxinova reacts reliably to different movement patterns.
In terms of light intensity and brightness, the spotlight provided very bright and even illumination overall. Although there was a small blind spot below the spotlight, this only had a minor impact on the overall illumination. The luminosity is more than sufficient for outdoor use, for example for illuminating driveways or gardens, and ensures high visibility in the dark.
Another test point was the waterproofness of the spotlight. There were minimal signs of moisture inside the housing, but the electronics remained completely undamaged and the functionality was not impaired in any way. Both the lighting and the sensors continued to function without restriction, confirming the product’s suitability for outdoor use.
Installation of the outdoor LED spotlight was quick and straightforward. All parts were present as described and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. The spotlight could be safely installed within a maximum of 15 minutes.
In terms of reacting to different movement patterns, the sensor worked perfectly and switched the light on immediately , even with small movements . The sensitivity of the sensor was optimised.
To summarise, it can be said that the LED outdoor spotlight from Proxinova fulfilled expectations in our practical test. The motion sensor works reliably, the light intensity is high and the device also works perfectly in wet conditions. The simple installation and stable performance make the spotlight a recommended choice.
