The 4FLY hard-shell case comes in a sturdy cardboard box that reliably protects the product. A particularly positive feature is that sensitive parts such as wheels and handles are additionally wrapped in plastic to prevent damage during transport. Another thoughtful detail: The case comes with a reusable fabric protective cover, which reduces packaging waste overall while offering practical added value.
The contents arrived complete and undamaged. In addition to the suitcase itself, the protective cover is included in the package. There is no traditional instruction manual, but this is not a drawback—all relevant information is listed on the outside of the box as well as on a small information card inside the suitcase. Additionally, a card with the customer service contact address is included, which leaves a professional impression.
Overall, the packaging concept impresses with a good balance between protection and sustainability. No superfluous inserts, no unnecessary plastic elements—instead, a sensibly protected product with a practical additional cover. The first impression is thoroughly positive and conveys quality and care on the part of the manufacturer.

In practical testing, the 4FLY hard-shell suitcase delivered a very impressive performance. The telescoping handle extends effortlessly and in increments. The mechanism operates smoothly, without catching or wobbling. Even when fully loaded, the handle remains stable and offers comfortable handling.
The four 360° double wheels feature a rubberized surface and enable quiet, low-resistance rolling. Even when fully loaded, the suitcase remains agile and can be easily maneuvered in all directions—both on smooth floors and on slightly uneven surfaces.
The interior is thoughtfully designed. The suitcase opens in the middle and features a sturdy compression strap on one side to secure clothing, while the other side is separated by a zippered compartment. Additional mesh pockets provide space for smaller items and help keep things organized.
The integrated TSA combination lock worked reliably in testing and repeatedly without any issues. It offers additional security for air travel and allows for hassle-free security checks without damage.
The suitcase demonstrated a pleasant flexibility in its material. This is highly desirable for everyday travel, as minor impacts are better absorbed than with rigid suitcases.
