The Leroo laundry basket made a good impression in our test. As well as being easy to assemble, the product also has a removable laundry bag so you don’t have to carry the whole basket to the washing machine. What’s more, the laundry basket has a very stylish and minimalist design. The mix of black fabric and bamboo wood makes the hamper look good in any room. Nevertheless, a fastener on the lid and a crease-free fabric would have been desirable, as slight creases are still visible after a week of use.

The laundry basket arrived in the typical Amazon box and was very easy to open. Inside was the box containing the laundry basket. Inside this box, the laundry basket was wrapped in plastic film. The product is therefore protected, but it would be sustainable packaging if the plastic film wasn’t there. Without the film, protection would also be guaranteed. The laundry basket assembly instructions are printed in large letters on the back of the box.

After unpacking the hamper, you will find the hamper, the packaging with the instructions printed on the back and an extra card thanking you for your purchase. There is a QR code on the card to sign up for the newsletter. A link to video instructions would have been more helpful, as the instructions are only printed in German. Otherwise, all the necessary components are included and the laundry basket can be used immediately after assembly. If there are any problems, the contact details are available on the extra card, but unfortunately there is no telephone number to contact.

The design of the laundry basket is very stylish and minimalist. This means the hamper fits into any room and is hardly noticeable. Unfortunately, there are a few creases in the fabric.The workmanship of the laundry basket is alsovery good, although the lack of a fastener on the lid is a little annoying. If the lid is opened too quickly, the laundry basket starts to wobble, otherwise it makes a stable impression and the rods inside the basket hold everything together well. The combination of the fabric and the bamboo wood is very durable and makes a high-quality impression.

The laundry basket is very practical to use. The removable laundry bag makes it easier to transport laundry to the washing machine or launderette instead of lugging the whole basket around. The laundry basket is also odour-proof so that the whole room doesn’t stink of dirty laundry. As already mentioned, the simple but beautiful design makes it very unobtrusive in the room and is not immediately recognisable as a laundry basket. When the hamper is full of laundry, it is very stable, but the hamper is a little wobbly when it is empty and sometimes falls over if you open the lid too quickly or get caught on it. It is very easy to assemble before use, only the bars are a little difficult to get in. However, with a bit of strength this is not a problem.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.4 stars. The fact that the lid has no fastening and the fabric is wrinkled is often criticised. Many customers really like the design of the laundry basket. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the design was very stylish and that the lack of a fastener was not so good.
Prices of up to €45 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €20. With a price of €39.99, the Leroo laundry basket is currently in the upper price segment. The price is reasonable for the quality and scope of services that you get.
