Packaging
The “Linda” shower curtain rail from Laakfeld arrived for our test in the product box, which also served as the shipping box. It was undamaged on arrival, but had to be opened using a tool (scissors, knife, etc.) . The box contained the individual product components and the assembly material wrapped in plastic film as well as the instructions for use. The packaging method optimally protects the product from external influences. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the carpet carpet pad was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. In contrast, the plastic film cannot be recycled. Notwithstanding this, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

The product box contained the individual parts of the shower curtain rail , consisting of two straight rods, two curved rods and two wall brackets for variable installation. In addition, 12 shower curtain rings and the necessary installation materials (14 different screws, 8 expansion plugs and an Allen key) are included. First of all, it should be mentioned that the “Linda” shower curtain rail makes a very good visual impression. We did not notice any manufacturing defects or scratches in the material. The product also impresses with its timeless, sophisticated design. The individual components can be easily combined with each other. Although the manufacturer could certainly offer more color choices, the plain white should fit into almost any bathroom.

The “Linda” shower curtain rail can be fitted in four different versions (U-shaped short/long, L-shaped short/long) and can also be individually shortened. In our test, we opted for the L-shaped long version, which uses two long and one curved rod. A drill is required for mounting on the wall. Instructions for drilling into tiles can be found in the instruction manual. Although it is a little tricky to assemble on your own, we recommend that two people work together. Once installed, the shower curtain rail hangs straight and stable even without a ceiling attachment. Even a wet shower curtain does not cause any sagging. The enclosed shower curtain rings can be slid effortlessly over the rail thanks to the sliding rollers. Please note that these should be slipped over the rail before fastening according to the instructions, otherwise unsightly scratches may occur. If the 12 enclosed rings are not sufficient, the manufacturer’s customer service can be contacted by email.
