The Rosenfeld hotplate made a very good impression in the test. The product makes it easy to prepare food and, thanks to its size, the hotplate can be used in almost all kitchens.
At over 1500 watts , the power of the hotplate is more than sufficient for normal use. The extra-long 1.5 m cable also makes it easy to connect the hotplate to the power supply.
In addition to these features, the product impresses with its robustness and versatility of use. Cleaning the hob is easy with a wet cloth and without the use of washing-up liquid, as the hob is made of cast iron.
In addition, there are no unpolished edges or processing defects on the product.

The hotplate from Rosenfeld arrived for our test in the typical shipping box, so it was easy to open by removing the adhesive strip and was delivered undamaged.
The box contained the hotplate and the operating instructions. In addition, a QR code was printed on the box, which refers to Rosenfeld’s Amazon shop. Unfortunately, plastic was used in the packaging of the hotplate, but the product was fully protected in this case and the parcel even withstood the rough handling of the postal workers, so that the hotplate was in perfect condition. For this reason, the packaging is not completely recyclable.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were two items on the kitchen table: the hob and the operating instructions.
Particularly noteworthy is the instruction manual, which clearly explains to the customer how to use and care for the hob. The use of the hob runs without any problems.
Unfortunately, a telephone number could not be found on the packaging or in the instructions for use.
All in all, however, this is a very good way to send a product.

The Rosenfeld hotplate makes a very good visual impression in the test. In addition to its simple design, it has no manufacturing faults. The hotplate is made of high-quality cast iron and can therefore only be cleaned without detergent, as this would damage the natural patina.
The product impresses with its good weight and sturdy workmanship. The customer is supplied with a high-quality hob that will serve them well.
Unfortunately, there is no information about sustainability on the Amazon product page or on the packaging. Due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life.

We really enjoyed using the Rosenfeld hob during the test. It is very easy to use and can be used by any amateur chef.
In our test, we mainly tested cooking using the hob. We noticed that the hob takes some time to develop full heat and transfer it to the pan. Once the heat is reached, it remains very constant due to the material used.
We also noticed that the hob does not slip due to the non-slip knobs, ensuring a stable hold. One point of criticism, which we also see in the customer reviews, is that the frame of the hob can get hot, but this is easily recognisable due to the existing symbol on the right edge and is also relatively normal in our eyes.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.1 stars. One criticism is that the frame of the hob gets very hot. Many customers like the fact that the dimensions of the hob are perfectly suitable and the materials used are of very high quality. We were also able to confirm these points in our practical test, but we find the heat development normal and the manufacturer draws attention to this with a sticker.
Prices of up to €53.59 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €19.95. With a price of € 29.95, the hotplate from Rosenfeld is therefore in the middle price segment in our test. The price ratio is good for the quality and the scope of services you get.
