The ratchet sleeve of the drill is made of bronze-colored metal. The hook itself and the spindle are made of carbon steel. The black handle is made of a non-slip PVC material and has an ergonomic shape, making it easier to grip. It is therefore very comfortable to hold. The integrated shock absorber counteracts typical wear and tear effects. The drill also has a practical hanger clip, which means it can be stored or hung up compactly. We really enjoyed working with the drill during the test. It’s unusual for beginners at first, but after a few practice attempts, it’s super comfortable and self-explanatory. In our test, we used the drill to seal a bag with a plant wire.
The first step is to place the plant wire around the bag to be sealed. The drill is then simply hooked into the wire ends or eyelets. Alternatively, the wire can also be placed around the hook. The wire is twisted in by simply pulling up the drill attachment. The handle is pulled up as often and as far as necessary until the desired strength is achieved. The plant wire is then quickly and easily fastened around the bag. The innovative 4-groove spindle technology offers a major advantage. Thanks to this, the drill can be used even more efficiently. This drill saves you the tedious task of twisting with wire cutters and the like. All in all, the Heimfleiss drill delivers what it promises. Special matching wires are also sold by Heimfleiss.
