The Spross Baby diaper pail was delivered in a typical Amazon box. The box was undamaged and easy to open. The product packaging was adapted to the exact dimensions of the bucket, and the bucket is also divisible to take up less space in the product packaging. This has the advantage that the product does not wobble in the packaging and is optimally protected from external influences. In this case, the product was fully protected and the diaper pail was therefore in perfect condition.
The packaging is fully recyclable, the refill cassette was marked with the arrow triangle, nothing was visible on the diaper pail or the product packaging.

The diaper pail is made of plastic, unfortunately it is not possible to tell exactly what type. It is a smooth plastic with no corners or edges. The refill cassette supplied is already inserted, all you have to do is remove the plastic protection and pull the bin liner to the correct length and knot it, and the diaper bin is ready for use.
A final conclusion on the “durability” category can only be drawn after prolonged use.

The two halves of the baby diaper pail have to be put together after delivery . This assembly was not as easy as expected, as the plastic parts could not be put together immediately and without snagging. The rest of the assembly of the product went smoothly and easily.
The magnetic closure system is a little stiff at first, but can always be operated easily with one hand. The simple and slim design as well as the back-friendly height of just under 70 cm are very pleasant. The fact that the diaper pail can be operated with just one hand is particularly useful when it comes to securing the baby.
What we also liked very much during the tests is that the smell of used diapers and wet wipes is well contained. Thanks to the height of the container and the associated size, the waste does not have to be carried to the garbage can every day.
The only small disadvantage we see is that you always have to have the right refill cassettes for the diaper bin at home. However, this is also the case with normal waste garbage cans.
All in all, a successful and well thought-out diaper bin.
