The Greenable butter dish was delivered in an Amazon box. The shipping box was compact and the products had little room to move around. The remaining space in the shipping box was therefore filled with recycled paper filling material. The product packaging was undamaged and in perfect condition. Both the shipping carton and the product packaging wereeasy to open without tools. The product packaging is a rectangular box with both the company name and a picture of the butter dish on it. Overall, the set is well protected in the packaging. It is particularly noteworthy that only recyclable, renewable materials (paper/cardboard) were used for the packaging. The butter dish from Greenable is a very good storage option for butter. Of course, other foods can also be stored in it. In addition to its practical size, it is also visually appealing. The glass lid is slightly heavier than a plastic lid. The lid is easy to close so that the contents are protected from the smells of other foods.
However, the lid is slightly more difficult to open. This can be avoided by opening the lid at a slight angle. The precise fit of the lid prevents the jar from slipping or being opened accidentally.
The glass lid is dishwasher-safe. The bamboo base, on the other hand, should only be washed by hand. With regular cleaning, the bamboo does not absorb any odors.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the sustainable butter dish and can recommend it as an environmentally friendly and practical alternative.
