The floor protection mat from Body & Mind® made a very good impression in our test. The product impresses with its simple and timeless design in combination with the high-quality materials. The individual mat sections can be seamlessly combined to create an area of up to 1.51 m² and can be extended as required with additional sets. The edge pieces ensure a clean finish. The floor protection mats are suitable for various rooms and environments such as fitness or gym rooms, playrooms, workplaces, garages or basements. The environmentally friendly and pollutant-free EVA foam offers sound and shock-absorbing properties, reduces noise and has a heat-insulating effect. The floor protection mat is water and dirt repellent and easy to clean. Thanks to the non-slip surface, the product ensures safe use. If the customer is not satisfied with the product, they can cancel the purchase within 30 days.

The Body & Mind® floor protection mat arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival and could be easily opened by removing the adhesive strip. Inside the box, the mat pieces were wrapped in plastic film. This type of packaging ensured that the product was optimally protected from external influences and was transported hygienically. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the floor protection mat was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. However, the plastic film cannot be recycled . Nevertheless, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

ℹ️ Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the package complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The product foil contains 18 mat pieces and 36 edge pieces that can be joined together to form a floor protection mat measuring 88 x 172 cm. A leaflet lists the most important product features and provides a brief description in German. The company’s contact details are also provided. This is a very good way to send a product.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

First of all, it should be noted that the floor protection mat makes a very good visual impression. There are no visible manufacturing defects. In addition, all transitions are cleanly finished and no scratches or edges are visible. The product is made of EVA foam, which is very high quality and robust . The product also impresses with its simple and timeless design.
No information on the sustainability of the product could be found. However, due to the high-quality materials used, we assume a long service life . If you are not satisfied with the product, the manufacturer offers a 30-day right of return.

Customers can currently choose between the colors black and grey. Different sizes are not required due to the individual expandability, but different thicknesses are conceivable.

ℹ️ Finally, we look at how the product compares to the competition. Can it keep up with the competition in terms of price and quality? Would we generally recommend buying it? We also examine consumer ratings and check whether the critical and positive reviews are actually justified.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rated the product with an average of 4.3 stars. One criticism is that too many edge pieces are included, the thickness is too thin and the online product description can be misleading. Other reviewers, however, praise the quality and strength of the mat and recommend the product. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the thickness of the mats is sufficient as floor protection. Some of the reviews seem to refer to a previous version of the floor protection mat.

Prices of up to €50 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as €16.
