The hiking socks from CORE GORIMO made a very good impression in our test. In addition to the very high-quality materials , the product impresses with its appealing but simple design. When worn, the hiking socks fit snugly and are easy to put on and take off. The size gradations are a perfect fit, although the waistband could be a little tight depending on the calf circumference. The high merino content of at least 39% ensures perfect thermoregulation and makes the product versatile – in both summer and winter. The mesh zones on the foot allow optimum air circulation, which effectively wicks away moisture and keeps feet dry without developing an unpleasant odor. The padding in the toe, heel and instep area prevents friction and protects against pressure points and blisters. Packing
The hiking socks from CORE GORIMO arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. Due to its size, it fitted well into the letterbox. It was undamaged and easy to open thanks to the integrated tear strip. Inside the box were the hiking socks wrapped in a paper envelope with a small message. This type of packaging means that the product is optimally protected from external influences. In addition, no labels need to be removed. Product protection is therefore fully guaranteed and the hiking socks are delivered in perfect condition . The packaging is also recyclable. The product therefore makes a very good first impression.

First of all, it should be mentioned that the hiking socks make a very good visual impression. There are no visible seam defects and the material is elastic yet retains its shape. The product also impresses with its appealing but simple design.
The manufacturer has thought about sustainability, as the product is washable at 30 degrees and is Oeko-Tex certified. The materials used also have a high-quality appearance, so that a long service life can be assumed. The manufacturer also offers a satisfaction guarantee.

We washed the hiking socks before wearing them for the first time. We can therefore confirm that the product retains its original shape after washing at 30 degrees. During the wear test, the hiking socks fit comfortably tight and are easy to put on and take off. The individual size gradations (35-38, 39-42, 43-46) fit well. However, depending on the calf circumference, the waistband may feel a little tight. The high merino content of at least 39% ensures perfect thermoregulation, which is why these hiking socks are recommended for both summer and winter . The mesh areas on the foot allow optimum air circulation. During our test hike, moisture was effectively wicked away and our feet remained dry without the unpleasant smell of sweat. The padding in the toe, heel and instep areas also prevents friction, so we didn’t get any pressure points or blisters.
