The STYLER softshell jacket from Nebulus made a very good overall impression in our test. The jacket is available for men in black, red, light green and three shades of blue and for women in red, purple and malibu. Regardless of whether it is a men’s or women’s version, the jacket is available in five different sizes. It has a zipper on the front, a stand-up collar and separate, closable pockets on the front. For our test, we received the jacket in size XL and the color black for the men and in size S and the color red for the women. The jacket fits our tester very well. The material quality and workmanship were just as impressive as the STYLER softshell jacket in the practical test. This shows that the jacket fits comfortably for a long time, the softshell outer is extremely water-repellent and the fleece on the inside keeps you nice and warm.

We have looked at and tested the product in detail in a practical test. In the following, we take a closer look at the features and impressions. The product is subjected to our test procedure from the packaging, materials and quality to the range of functions and handling.

In our case, the STYLER softshell jacket from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box . The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. Inside the box was the STYLER softshell jacket in its product packaging.
The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the softshell jacket was packed. The film is tear-resistant and not stretchable. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode and the product name and size of the fleece jacket. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English.
The bag has an opening on the side, which is sealed with an adhesive strip on the film. The adhesive strip is reusable. If the jacket is to be returned, the bag can be resealed with the existing adhesive strip. There is another layer of thin paper between the individual layers of the folded jacket to prevent the jacket fabric from rubbing against each other during transportation. The tag on the zipper is also wrapped in thin packaging paper.
The STYLER softshell jacket is very well protected from damage and soiling by the cardboard box and plastic bag.

As you would expect, the STYLER softshell jacket does not require any additional accessories and is delivered without them. On the label there is a cardboard disc the size of a beer mat, which is printed on both sides with the Nebulus logo in high gloss, which can also be found on the product packaging. It is striking that according to the label on the transparent plastic film, the men’s fleece pullover should be supplied in size M. However, this packaging contains the fleece pullover. However, this packaging contains the men’s fleece sweater in size XXL.
There are no instructions for use, but this is not necessary. Washing instructions can be found on a label on the inside of the jacket, where they are shown with the familiar symbols . The label also contains information on the material composition of the STYLER softshell jacket, the size and the product name.

For our test, we received the STYLER softshell jacket for men in black and for women in red. In addition to this color, Nebulus also offers the jacket for men in red, light green and three shades of blue – navy, malibu and cobalt. For women, Nebulus also offers the colors malibu and purple. The red color of our women’s test jacket is very elegant and gives a subtle and timeless look.
Regardless of the men’s or women’s version, the outside of the jacket is made of typical softshell fabric, which is an extremely fine, wrinkle-free and even fabric. The inside of the jacket, on the other hand, is made of a soft fleece fabric that extends to the end of the sleeves and thus lines the entire inside. The fleece is soft and offers optimum comfort. The fleece fabric also feels very good against the skin. The front of the softshell jacket can be opened along its entire length with a zipper . The zipper is in the basic color, with a black pendant attached to the opener. In addition to the Nebulus lettering, a small Norway flag is also sewn into it.
The jacket has two pockets on the front, which are positioned at stomach height. These can also be closed with a zipper, which has the same pendant as the zipper for opening the jacket. The inside pocket does not just have a second layer of fabric sewn onto the inside of the jacket. Instead, the belly pocket has its own front and back. The belly pockets are only connected to the rest of the jacket via the zipper and a short, narrow strip. As a color contrast to the red base color, the jacket has white seams and a variety of patches and lettering. Nebulus lettering and the Norwegian flag are sewn onto the right chest. There is also a patch in the form of a coat of arms with Nebulus lettering and the Norwegian flag on the right chest. The coat of arms and the round patch on the right upper arm are in the same style, but not identical. There is also embroidered Nebulus lettering across half of the left sleeve. As a special extra, the outside of the collar is also embroidered with small lettering and a flag. These accents in grey, blue and white add color to the red base tone and create an interesting visual effect.
The jacket does not have a hood, but it does have a high collar. A second layer of fabric is sewn onto the inside of the collar, which is made of a fine fabric rather than fleece. The fabric is designed in the brand’s typical Norwegian flag design. This additional contrast to the color of the jacket and the white seams in the collarbone area gives the collar a special touch and adds another subtle yet eye-catching accent to the overall look .
The back of the jacket is embroidered in the same style and the Nebulus lettering in the upper area. Otherwise, the back of the jacket is kept simple with no patches or print. An elastic band is sewn into the bottom of the jacket, which can be adjusted using a clamp . The men’s softshell jacket is in the basic color black, with the contrasting colors of this softshell jacket being white and red. Accordingly, the patches on the zipper are red.
According to the label, the jacket is made entirely of polyester. The properties of the fabric used are positive. Both the softshell layer and the fleece on the inside are thick and tear-resistant. The seams are all even and clean. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any, they are only very short. Apart from this, the jacket has no other manufacturing faults. The jacket has the typical pleasant smell of brand-new clothing.
Overall, the softshell jacket with its large number of patches and the depiction of the Norwegian flag in the collar is a fashionable item of clothing with a discreet yet exciting design. The quality of the fabrics used, the seams and the overall finish are also impressive.

The STYLER softshell jacket is available for men and women in various sizes from S to XXL. It is noticeable that according to the label on the transparent plastic film, the softshell jacket should be supplied in size M. In our test, however, we received the pullover for men in size XXL. In our test, however, we received the men’s pullover in size XXL. As you would expect, the men’s version is clearly too big for our 170 cm tall tester. This is not surprising, as our tester normally wears a size M. For our test , we received the jacket in size S for women . The softshell jacket fits our tester, who is just over 160 cm tall, very well. It offers sufficient freedom of movement and still leaves room for a few extra centimetres of height. The jacket sits comfortably on the body without feeling baggy. The length of the jacket is also suitable, it ends at the right height. The sleeves of the jacket are also cut correctly and end just after the base of the hand.
The jacket remains very comfortable even after long periods of wear. The two-layer construction with fleece fabric keeps you nice and warm. When the zipper is closed all the way up, the collar fits snugly around the neck and provides effective protection against the cold. In contrast to jackets with hoods, where the fabric does not lie against the neck even when the hood is attached, the collar fulfills its function here. The zipper can be easily operated with the pendant. The elastic band at the bottom of the jacket can also be used to provide additional protection against the cold. The adjustment mechanism is released with a button on a clip, and the elastic band can be tightened or loosened as required. The tightened elastic band effectively prevents the penetration of cold air from below, even during dynamic movement.
When the zipper is opened, the softshell jacket is significantly less warm. The open front allows a lot of fresh air to reach the upper body. The collar at the neck no longer fits snugly and no longer provides the same level of thermal insulation. This allows the temperature in the jacket to be adjusted flexibly .
An ideal softshell jacket should be water-repellent . We therefore put the jacket to the test by spraying the surface with water. The softshell surface shows its advantages here: it is extremely water-repellent. The water rolls off immediately and falls to the ground. The surface of the jacket cannot be wetted and does not absorb water, which keeps the inside pleasantly dry.
Finally, we washed the softshell jacket according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the STYLER softshell jacket, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C without drying and ironing, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. Unfortunately, washing at 60 °C, as would be recommended after sporting activities or heavy soiling, for example, is not possible. After washing, the jacket smells of the detergent used, otherwise there are no noticeable differences. The jacket survives the washing process without damage or fading.
Overall, the STYLER softshell jacket impressed us in our practical test. It is very comfortable, keeps you pleasantly warm, is extremely water-repellent and also withstands washing without any problems.
