The zip-off trekking pants from KIRKJUBØUR® were delivered neatly packaged and well protected. The packaging corresponded to the product size, but unfortunately a plastic bag was used. However, the contents were sufficiently protected. Instructions for use were not included, but the product is self-explanatory and easy to use.

The hiking trousers have an attractive design and are available in four different colors. The workmanship is good, no seam defects were found and the transitions are neatly finished. The trousers are very robust, both in terms of the material and the leg cuffs. No information could be found on the sustainability of the product, but the high-quality workmanship suggests a certain longevity

The fit of the trousers was unclear as the waist size was not specified. The wearing comfort was rated as good, although the long trouser legs can get warm in temperatures above 20 degrees. The additional features such as the waterproofness of the trousers and the practical pockets proved to be very useful in changeable weather. The trousers can easily be washed at 30 degrees .
Overall, the KIRKJUBØUR zip-off trekking trousers deliver what the manufacturer promises. However, an indication of the waist size would have been desirable in order to better assess the fit. Despite minor flaws, the trousers offer a high level of functionality and quality that outdoor enthusiasts can rely on during their activities.
